Summer Wind Beach House!

Gene and Suzanne are AMAZING hosts and they have a lovely home that they decorate so beautifully for us every Christmas!! We love this family tradition we have enjoyed for the past 4 years!!

Wonderful vacation at the Summer Wind House. The house was perfect for our extended family and was stocked with everything we could want. The beach was beautiful and lots of thing to do in the area.The hosts were attentive to our needs and we would definitely come back.

This house is beautiful and well equipped. Lots of beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas, coolers, corn hole, and beach cart. You need to bring absolutely nothing for beach equipment. So close to Newport, Block Island, Watch Hill, restaurants and bars. Basement was lots of fun! Would definitely stay again!

Summer Wind is the perfect house for my family and me to create memorable moments. This is our fourth year staying at this fabulous property. The house is spacious and well equipped, and only a few miles from the beach. We already are looking forward to returning next year.

This house is a great space to host two families. The owners have thought about everything to make our stay extremely easy and fun. The backyard is beautiful. Host is very responsive.

We had 10 adults and 5 children. Quiet neighborhood. Home has many amenities. Comfortable beds, plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Kitchen fully stocked. Great place to stay!

This is the third summer we have returned to Summer Wind. This home is a perfect getaway for my family. It is spacious, clean, well stocked and conveniently located to Westerly attractions. We made many fun family memories while staying in this lovely home.

We had an incredible vacation experience at Summer Wind. Beginning with timely responses to inquiries pre visit, Gene and Suzanne could not have been better hosts. Their property is stunning: very spacious, clean and well- appointed. Everything that one may need has been anticipated and provided for guest use - with the exception of food and beverages! There was more than enough space for nine adults and six children. The outdoor pergola provided a lovely haven at any time day, the outdoor dining tables/barbeque area was a wonderful venue for enjoying meals together and the children enjoyed playing in the yard. This was our second trip to Summer Wind. Our extended family of 13 had a wonderful week. The house again lived up to our expectations. Many amenities and space for all of us! Thanks to Gene and Suzanne who are wonderful hosts.

The space was great for our extended family. The new outdoor space was spacious and very comfortable. The downstairs arcade, lounge area and pool table were a hit with kids. The house had all the amenities you need.

Owners went to so much trouble to make the house feel like our own. Everything was thought of which meant we had to think of nothing but relaxing. Will rent again for sure

We held our annual family reunion at the Summer Wind Beach House. There were 10 of us (6 adults and 4 children ages 12-14). This was the best equipped vacation house we have ever used. The kitchen was fully stocked and the outdoor kitchen even included a pizza oven. Downstairs was a playground for the kids with video games, movies and a pool table. The great backyard included a great seating area to relax with drinks as well as a bocce court. (We also ate most of our dinners outdoors.) The state beach is a short drive away and the house came with plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. Overall, a great place.

The photographs accurately depict the home, but nothing can convey the hospitality offered by the hosts, Gene and Suzanne. Everything was available to us. Beach chairs, boogie boards, even the cookware for a lobster boil ! The finished basement was the favorite place for our young adult kids. The patio and pergola were wonderful after a day at the beach, and the gas grill was used every night. In short, we can’t recommend the Summer Wind highly enough. We’re very grateful to Gene and Suzanne.
