Stayed Dec 20, 2025This property has many positive aspects and overall we felt it was OK thus 3 stars. THe location is quiet and in a central part of Missoula very close to Bonner park. The house itself is well stocked with consumables and it's clear from looking at the Zillow pics from when the house was sold recently that the owner has done considerable renovations. On the other side of the ledger, the front and back yard were in need a of a bit of clean up when we arrived with downed branches and lots of leaves including all over the front porch. The house is quite old (1899) and despite the renovations, the interior layout is a bit odd, which is not totally unusual for older homes (we lived for 14 years in a 1926 Tudor in Seattle). The first floor bathroom is very small. The second floor bathroom is quite a bit larger but the corner shower stall is very tight and the water pressure anemic. The washer and dryer are both in the basement down a set of very steep and narrow stairs. Cleaning of the house could use more attention as the rug in the living room was spotted and quite dirty. Cooking was a bit challenging as there is no oven hood or exhaust and the pots and pans have seen better days with uneven surfaces that don't lie flat on the stove. Finally,The thermostat was very annoying as it would switch to default temps (lower) several times per day and despite asking the management company to change it, they were unsuccessful in getting it fixed (issue with wifi connectivity I think

Stayed Oct 3, 2025This House was in the perfect location of the historic Rose Park. Whether it's dropping into download Missoula for a festival or hitting the Bitter Root Valley for some hikes, this is the place you need to stay. The house was spacious and well cared for, all the things you need to either cook at home or drop into a friendly local bakery or restaurant (we did both). We will be coming back to Missoula and WILL Be Staying at this same place !

Stayed Aug 14, 2025We enjoyed the Historic 1899 home with its spacious living, dining, bedroom and kitchen areas. Very-well maintained and clean home. The host was accommodating and responsive to our requests. The sitting area on the front porch was also quite inviting. This was definitely a 5-star experience.

Stayed May 9, 2025The property is well appointed with linens, cookware and basic amenities. The only problem was we had guests very sensitive to perfumes. I would recommend that the hosts change laundry detergent to a scent free brand. My guests were having to take allergy meds in order to stay at the property.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025It was an older clean house. You couldn’t change the temp on the thermostat, with it being Montana spring and only having it set as high as 64 was a bit chilly.

Stayed Dec 22, 2024Excellent place to stay in Missoula. Close to downtown and all of the amenities you could need. Beds were all comfortable, with plenty of pillows, blankets and towels everywhere. As stated in the description, there are stairs, so if you aren't comfortable with stairs, look elsewhere, but otherwise book this spot next time you're in Missoula!

Stayed Jul 22, 2024My daughter and I, along with our dog, enjoyed our stay at this 1899 historic house in Rose Park. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and also high-quality linens and paper goods. Our dog enjoyed being able to explore the fenced-in back yard. However, the backyard could be a bit more human user- friendly, perhaps a patio with a table and chairs. The front porch was delightful during the frequent rainstorms we experienced. Amy at Plum Realty was very, very responsive to all contacts and kept us informed of the details about the three-day power outage. All in all, a pleasant, fun-filled three-week stay in Missoula.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024We now have stayed here twice because it is in a great location and a quiet neighborhood. Our kids love the short walk around the corner to get ice cream at Dairy Queen on a hot day. The house has everything you need from AC to an extra blanket and laundry baskets.
