Summer Estate | Pool + Firepit + Family Retreat

We have rented numerous vacation homes to accommodate our 10 person family. The house is in a nice neighborhood, beautiful pool, and outdoor amenities. Although, there are a few aspects that didn’t meet our expectations. First and foremost this rental needs an updated air conditioning system, to adequately cool the upstairs bedrooms, we also feel that a second refrigerator is a must for large family gatherings, one trash container in the kitchen did not suffice our needs, and lastly, we needed a greater supply of bath towels for the week. We hope the host takes these considerations for future guests.

A wonderful home that is at once homey, spacious and incredibly comfortable for our family. Our teens loved that they each had their own space- with spacious bathrooms and showers. The tv room/nook was quite cozy - and really the main weak spot here as we all couldn’t really fit comfortably to watch movies together on our one rainy night. That said, all of the other main areas are spacious and well appointed but not so fancy that we felt terrified of our two dogs messing everything up. The air conditioning works well throughout the house with the master suite getting just a bit hotter than the rest of the house. The management company here have been amazing and responsive to the tiny situations that came up for us- both the result of misunderstandings on our end not faults in the house at all. Just a warning that this house supplies none of the basics in terms of coffee, spices, oils, or pantry items. If you are going to cook, you will need to buy or bring all of your own ingredients are literally nothing is in the pantry. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking except a great bread knife but location-wise, there are enough stores close by to make this kitchen easy enough to stock. It’s a quick 8 minute drive to some beautiful beaches- both public ones and private resident ones and the beach pass is wonderful!!!! Beds were comfortable- but blankets a little thin so if you need more than a think comforter, bring your own. We loved being central enough to everything on the cape but also hidden in our own little private foresty area. The pool was glorious and our kids loved it! We were very happy here! Highly recommended!!!!

Wonderful home, very spacious and great outdoor fun with the pool. Chris was amazing and so helpful. Would definitely recommend this home, close to beaches and great restaurants.

Pooltopia exceeded all expectations. We booked it from July 1 through Aug 5th. The house was perfect for our needs. We had our three adult children & our 9 yr old grandchild visit. The house was very well equipped. The ping pong table got lots of use. There are plenty of beach chairs & towels. And we made good use of the fire pitt, making s'mores many evenings. The pool was enjoyed by all - particularly my husband & me after playing pickleball every morning. The location is ideal! Quick access to beaches, downtown Osterville with fabulous restaurants, and a quick drive to Hyannis. Craigsville Beach is absolutely beautiful! We spent many afternoons there. Many thanks to Chris (our booking agent), who made sure we had a Keurig machine here for my morning caffeine fix. We hope to return next summer!
