This was our 1st winter vacation in Florida. We enjoyed it immensely. The condo was clean and comfortable. Jim, the owner was easily accessible and responded promptly to questions and concerns. The Little Harbor area appears poised for growth which will allow more amenities. We found several reasonably priced golf courses, especially if playing after noon. Best was Renaissance Club, fastest was Sandpiper, (under 4 hours, twice) both in Sun City Center. The course in Apollo Beach was in rough condition. Restaurants were generally average. Best was Circles in Apollo Beach, good menu and very good food. Also good were Latitudes and Ybor Grill. The food at Sunset Grill in Little Harbor was mediocre but the sunsets were fabulous! The Fish House is an experience if you like fried food. Good lunch places include: The Hot Tomato, good sandwiches and bakery looked real good, good sub at Marian's, and good hot dog at the Dog Shack.

This was one of the nicest condos we have stayed at and enjoyed this a whole lot. The morning sunrise was great. I took many pictures of it. The boats coming and going on the canal were very interesting. Saw dolphins, pelicans and even fish jumping. The only thing we did not like was the table and chairs. Hi tops are not our choice. We are older and they are not comfortable. A grill would be nice also. Am considering staying in Ruskin again. Barb and Don B.

We had a great time while staying in Little Harbor. The condo was very nice, well appointed with a great nature view of the back marina canal. We saw dolphins swim by our balcony on a couple of occasions and lots of pelicans floating by the back balconies. The owner was super nice and made sure we were happy. He put a lot of time and effort to make us feel at home. He made sure our kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our extended stay. There were plenty of linens to accommodate not only us, but also our overnight guests. He also provided us with a Tenant Guide which explained how to: get there, use the security system, connect to Wi-Fi, operate the utilities and washer/dryer. The guide also contained contact information if repairs were needed or emergencies arose. If your intent is to settle into a place with a beach, several pools, fitness rooms, marinas, a restaurant and a pub; then Little Harbor is a great place. The sunsets are beautiful, the facilities are top notch and the resort staff is extremely nice. If you want to get out and explore your surroundings, then you may find Ruskin to be a bit remote. There are a some very good restaurants within a few miles, but nothing much more. For a night on the town, you may want to drive 45 minutes up to Tampa. If you want a tropical experience on beautiful beaches, you will have to drive 45 minutes to either Anna Maria Island or St. Pete Beach. We had a great experience while we were there. We have family nearby and had family come from out-of-state to visit. The condo and Little Harbor fit our needs perfectly. We will book this condo again when we decide to come visit this area. We are extremely grateful for the hospitality granted to us by the owner! Thanks, Jim!
