Stylish House Walking Distance from the Fun of the Highlands!

There was plenty of space, well furnished and clean. It was a perfect fit and extremely comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Absolutely loved this place! The vibes are so fun and it’s so close and convenient to the interstate and downtown activities! The host was very responsive any time I reached out. 10/10 would recommend this place!

We have stayed at dozens of VRBO properties and I have never left a bad review. I feel like I must for this house. Let me start by saying the property manager was amazing and addressed our concerns in a very timely manner. I have no issues with the owner/manager. The house, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. There were 10-20 dead ants (glad they were dead) in the home. The bathroom had hair on the floor and shower. The shower never got hot, just warm. The ceiling fans were caked with dust. The baseboards were filthy and need to be repainted. The rug in the bedroom was stained. The master bed was rattly and generally uncomfortable. The queen bed in the back bedroom was much more comfortable and that’s where we slept. The neighborhood is very run down and the neighboring properties seem abandoned. I would never walk around this neighborhood and feel safe. The noise coming from the street was extremely disruptive in the evening and in the morning. People sped by and revved their engines like they were in a street race. There was a Louisville festival that weekend that the owner said it caused the traffic. But it was also disruptive at 7 am so I blame the position of the house in relation to the street corner. We cut our trip short and left a day early because the house was so poor. I am from the Flint area so I’m not a delicate flower who gets uncomfortable in a run-down, dangerous area of town. I simply know the areas to avoid and I’d avoid this house.

Loved this place very close to everything

Everything about our stay was great. It was cute house for 2 couples. Very comfortable, clean and stylish. The house was located near shopping and city life. Also, close to the Yum Center. Communication with host was already excellent.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was just as advertised. The host was so helpful and easy to reach.

This was OK. Bare bones in industrial neighborhood. If you’re not accustomed to city life, you may not feel comfortable here. But it’s in a decent location to just walk to local restaurants and stores. The bedrooms were a bit tight with the large beds. But 2 adults in one, and 2 teens in the other was manageable. Only 1 tv in one of the bedrooms. Oddest thing is there was no toaster. Kitchen supplies are very limited. Neighbors are friendly.

hit the bourbon trail with some friends, perfect place to stay

We rented this for Derby weekend, and it was great! It was a very reasonable drive to Churchill Downs. We loved the nearby restaurant, and the house itself had a great layout to make sure that everyone had their “own space”. The only negative was that several of our pillow cases had stains on them, but we were easily able to find extra linens that were clean.
