My mom was accompanying me on a trip to Leadville so I could hike Mt. Elbert from 9/11 - 9/13. We were arriving at 4am and with check in being at 4pm I had to pay for the day prior in order to be able to check in at 4am. We get to the property and the heat doesn’t seem to be working and we are unable to get in touch with anyone. We assumed we were working the thermostat wrong as it was very old fashioned. My mom drops me off and when she picks me up in the early evening she informs me that there had been 12 calls between her and the rental property and the heat issue has still not been resolved. My mom is 67, we are from Virginia and not acclimated to the Colorado cold and she was sitting in a house that was 58 degrees the entire day and the girl at the office had the audacity to tell her “58 isn’t that cold”. We were given the option to get a full refund or to wait for the repair man who my mom was waiting for the entire day. With the night approaching we decided to leave and get the full refund. I was then refunded not even a full day. When I contacted the office they emailed me that because we didn’t sleep at the property the night that I booked because we were getting in at 4am that I didn’t deserve a full refund. This property was advertised as having heat, I paid for a property with heat and did not get a property with heat . My mom was there for less than 12 hours and now I am just out $300.
This house was prefect for us! It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed!
Great location, the place was very nice and clean. The management company was quick to respond, but initial directions were a bit confusing. I would recommend staying here
This house was perfect for our getaway to Leadville. Just one block from the main street of shops and restaurants. The views from the standing desk work area can't be beat, with Mt. Elbert and the whole range as your backdrop. It had everything we needed and we'd definitely stay here again if we go back to Leadville.
We enjoyed the quaint home in Leadville. It fitted our needs appropriately. Our dogs ebjoyed the fenced in yards and were ready to get our and go by the time we were there. We would like to suggest a couple of pillows on the couch for comfort but other than that it was perfect for a comfy vacation stay.
Great rental property for a couple. Location is ideal on a quiet street that is a short walk to downtown Leadville and interesting restaurants/coffee houses/bars/shops. The interior of this historic house has been updated and decorated in a modern and very stylish way. The property manager is very attentive and the check in and check out process was easy and efficient.
My visit to Leadville for the annual “Boom Days” celebration was awesome. The cornerstone to the great visit was the house we rented. Clean, comfortable, exactly as advertised and the hosts were quick to respond to the 2 questions I asked them for help with.
This house was perfect and the service support was incredible. I arrived late at night and wanted to make sure I was parking in the right spot and my call was answered immediately!
Leadville has always been a place I hope to call my future home. Staying in this house really made it feel like a dream come true. The house was a perfect size for a couple and their dog to enjoy Downtown Leadville. 10 out of 10. Would recommend!
Came to Leadville for a weekend of relaxation. The house very clean and comfortable. It was close to town so we could walk everywhere we needed to go. Thanks for a great space.
Nice and clean. The king bed was very good and the location was great. Absolutely loved the town which has good and affordable restaurants. My only knock on the rental property was the uncomfortable couch. The rental included a toaster which I believe was not listed or pictured. Also, a previous post said the dryer did not work. Both washer and dryer worked just fine. I recommend this listing.
This house has been remodeled and is so comfortable and cozy. The electric fireplace was in when we arrived and made to living room so inviting. The bed was very comfortable, it was hard to get up to go ski! The shower was strong and perfect after a day of skiing and I loved the yoga mat for some apres ski yoga! The only problem upon arriving was the property manager gave us the wrong code for the door. But we got that resolved. We will definitely stay again.
Nice one bedroom near everything in Leadville's business district. The property is clean, updated and the owners had everything I needed for my stay. The coffee station worked great too.
Bed was comfortable and everything was as advertised.
Wonderful home within walking distance of the shops/restaurants downtown. Property was clean and as described. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay in Leadville. This house has been renovated and we loved the decor, it was very cozy.
This older house has been completely remodeled and is a cute little place for a couple. Convenient location, one block off the Main Street.
Great little house, nicely decorated and clean. Everything used was functional. Washer/dryer good for longer stay but didn’t use. Highly recommend for solo traveler or couple.
Everything we needed for two people in spectacularly beautiful Leadville. All is as described in writing. I made the mistake of seeing the photo of the washer and dryer and assuming they were both available for guests. We used the washer and then found that the dryer doesn't work. On rereading the description, only the washer is listed as an amenity. So read the description, which I did not, and you'll know what awaits you! We would stay here again.
Unfortunately, there was road construction in front of the property while we were there which we didn't know about until the day of check-in. We had to park about a block away in front of someone else's private property. Also, the door lock would automatically lock after 10 minutes which was inconvenient. The house was not well stocked - no ice trays, no toaster, no wine glasses, no dishwasher, no dish soap, and only 1 hand soap in the entire house. The clothes dryer did not work (wouldn't heat up). Luckily we hadn't tried to wash a load of clothes. We also weren't able to get a hold of anyone immediately. We had to wait overnight for a response from property management. On the positive, the bed was nice, there were plenty of towels and it is in a good location (once the road construction is complete).
