LOVE this flat! The extra little details really made this a charming rental. We arrived and met Izzy, who was finishing a walk-through to ensure it was ready for us. The lights and accent lamps were on, but dimmed; and the television had some music playing which really set the tone for a fabulous stay. We instantly felt at home. There was ample parking on the street in front of the flat, a huge park across the street helped provide some peace and quiet, and the neighborhood was so interesting to explore. If you are looking for retreat to return to after a long day of walking, shopping, and taking in the sites of Louisville…THIS is your place. This flat is very well decorated, full of historic charm and character. It has a well-stocked kitchen including a Keurig (which we used every morning), a white noise machine in the bedroom (you are in the flight path of the nearby airport), comfy bedding, an eclectic collection of books throughout, umbrellas by the front door (thank goodness because it rained the entire time we were there) and even bathroom essentials. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, down Belgravia Court, looking at all the historic homes (breathtaking) on our way to The Old Louisville Tavern. Popular sites are only a short drive away. We would definitely rent this property again and will recommend it to friends.

I had a great time staying at this property, which was well-situated for my needs, well-furnished and clean. I'm an anxious traveller and so particularly appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the hosts, who were very responsive and keen to help. Will certainly stay here again if I need to return to Louisville!

This Old Louisville home is beautiful in a style lovely to this area. The hosts have thought of all needs so it is as if you are staying with your closest friends in their place. The area is Victorian at it's best. Plenty of places to visit are close. Bars, restaurants and Central Park, which is right across the street. All with the character of Old Louisville. Great. Highly recommended.

This place is the perfect place to stay when visiting Louisville. We were able to park on the street right in front of the home. After a long day of traveling, we walked into a beautiful home filled with eclectic artwork and the sound of smooth jazz—immediately felt relaxed. Izzy, the host, has thought of everything you could need even night lights and umbrellas. The location is ideal for walking around Old Louisville and you are close to many attractions—Church Hill Downs, Louisville Slugger museum, Corvette museum. Our favorite restaurant in walking distance was Old Louisville Tavern. I would give this flat more stars if I could—it was perfect.

My friend and I had a fabulous stay in this adorable Old Louisville flat. I seriously think the hosts have thought of everything a guest could possibly want; I love the details! Communication was top-notch, personalized, thorough and timely. Self-check-in was clear and simple. The neighborhood was lovely, and we felt completely safe at all times. (important to me as two women traveling) The decor was inviting, and the furnishings comfortable. Having coffee at the ready was fabulous! It is so obvious that these wonderful hosts take great care and pride in providing an exceptional experience for their guests. If I'm ever in Louisville again, this is where I will stay, without a doubt. Thank you ladies!

If you love historic districts in cities, this apartment is for you. It is well-appointed and conveniently located to many Louisville attractions. It is especially great if you want to be near the University of Louisville or the downtown distilleries. For us it was a great location to visit relatives off Bardstown Road and in Southern Indiana.

We had a wonderful time at this property during our stay. It's homey, comfortable, and in a gorgeous neighborhood. The hosts were communicative and gracious. They even brought us flowers as a welcoming gift! Louisville is a charming, beautiful and historic city. The neighborhood is full of gorgeous historic homes. It was safe to walk in, quiet, but felt right in the middle of it all. This was our first trip to Louisville but I'm sure it won't be our last. We would definitely pick this property again on a future visit.
