Overall the place was cute. I notified the property owner of bug issues and she didn't want to use toxic chemicals and didn't address the issue until I told her that the bugs were a problem -gross - after 4 days/3 nights she finally sprayed. The property also listed a hot tub, but no hot tub at the property- brought to the owner's attention and she removed hot tub from listing.

Perfect for our trip, comfortable home, great furniture, all the amenities needed to arrive relax and focus on family. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Easy drive to all neighborhoods and great spaces for relaxing. Easy check in process, clean, and so well appointed. Consider this one before a Richmond hotel, responsive owner and comfortable home away from home. We had a great experience.

I rent from VRBO often and Carolyn has been the most responsive owner so far. Communications were fast and easy. The house was gorgeously decorated, perfectly matches the pictures, and perfectly clean.

The property was very nice: comfortable and elegant. We loved all of the lamps and the home decor. The property manager was easy to communicate with and helped us get an early check in. We had an excellent stay!

Took my mom to Richmond for a “girls weekend” - this adorable home was absolutely perfect! All the amenities we needed, great location close to botanical gardens, restaurants and shopping. Ever inch of the home is perfectly decorated. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a very nice, recently remodeled, very well appointed, clean and comfortable single family home perfect for couples or 4-6 persons. All modern appliances and plenty of added touches which make for a homey atmosphere. Has a very large deck in back that overlooks a completely enclosed back yard. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary get-away. Would reserve again.

This house was so perfect for our stay. It was just the right size for our family of four. It was very clean, and had all the amenities we needed.

We recently spent a couple of days in Richmond and found this welcoming home on VRBO. The pictures are an accurate reflection of the house as well as the decorating. It is warm and inviting instead of over stuffed with little whatnots like a great many short term rental properties can be. Carolyn has really created a very nicely decorated property which was a pleasure to come back to at the end of the day. The location is close enough to the mainstream of Richmond to still be considered convenient but far enough out to make you feel safe in this age of civil unrest. The community is quiet and getting a good night sleep is not a problem. The kitchen amenities are what you would need for any short stay. Should you make any meals at the house (or get carry out), the deck is new and the yard is surrounded by a new privacy fence. To sum it up--We have added this home to our return again list when we come again to that area. Thank you Carolyn
