Stayed Dec 31, 1969My large family had a wonderful vacation at this property for 10 days in August 2016. The pool, outdoor wrap around deck and open, modern first floor layout of the house made for easy, breezy summer living. A large, new awning covered one large eating table for outside dining by the pool and the sun filled the rest of the large deck. Close proximity to the ocean made for wonderful, cooling ocean breezes. In addition to two tables in the eating area of the deck, there were plenty of lounge chairs and seating in the deck area around pool. The set up accommodates a large group of people very comfortably. The owners were thoughtful and accommodating, allowing us to bring our pup, providing lots of fresh beach towels and another linens, and unexpectedly leaving beverages, snacks, soaps, sundries, and other amenities to welcome us upon our arrival. House is a very short walk to town - a nice feature when you have a big group - and the ocean beaches are so close by too. We enjoyed many of the nice stores and restaurants in town, went to the WHB farmer's market, paddled kayaks, golfed, and took day trips, e.g., a wine tasting at a vineyard on the north fork. And of course we spent lots of time at the ocean and by the pool. It was a great vacation. We highly recommend this property and its owners!
