Stunning views and sunsets from this pet friendly oceanfront home with a hot tub

Beautiful view; perfect location between Depoe Bay and Newport. Difficult to see much of the ocean from the main floor bedroom, but trimming foliage a little could help. Otherwise, it's quiet, charming, perfect for two couples or families. I recommend sitting in the blue chairs at cliffside, and drifting away in the scene before you!

The place had a great view, hot tub was fun...nice house. Needs a few updates but really a nice getaway.

We love the location and setup of the house. Our stay was for 3 nights but we only had 2 dishwasher packs and had to buy more for our stay. It would be nice if there were enough for the entire visit.

Where to start? Couldn’t get in because the lock on the door was broken, wet spots from dog pee on carpet, WiFi disconnected not working, poor cellphone coverage, furniture not comfortable with one leg broken on chair, advertisement said washer and dryer but they were locked up. This was the second half of our trip and we needed washer and was counting on it. The manager was full of apologies but the WiFi wasn’t fixed until the last day.

Great views and hot tub was nice. Could use a good cleaning. Carpet had multiple stains. Dog hair on downstairs bedding, possible mold in corner. Dirty towel was left in master bedroom on door hook. Fans had visible dirt. Washer/dryer not available for guest, locked.

Excellent location. Great views. Outstanding deck looking out at the ocean. Hot Tub was great (could have used directions but we figured it out). 5 minutes from Depoe Bay, 10 minutes from Newport. Lots of hiking trails, wineries/bars/great eats. You could stay the whole trip at the house or venture out to the great little sea side towns.

The view is exactly as amazing as it looks! We caught beautiful sunrises and sunsets here. We also loved easy access to Beverly Beach, where you can walk miles, collect driftwood or play with your dogs. Not thrilled with the cleanliness when we arrived, with well-established spiders in the bathroom shower. Also, if you missed the fine print, the listed washer/dryer amenities are apparently not for guests. They are locked up, which put a wrinkle on our trip. Communication with the host was not very satisfying; it's a corporate-run place, and it feels like it, with pennies pinched in every direction. I wish this house could still be loved like it probably was decades ago, but it is what it is.I guess our expectations were a little higher given the view and how nice the area is.

Loved the view and set up of house. Everything was clean and well cared for. The check in was smooth. When we had an issue property management took care of it immediately. I would certainly stay here again.

Awesome seaside bungalow!

The location was great the door lock didn't work properly so access and locking up was a big problem. The septic system is so full the shower doesn't drain and the bath fills as you shower. Great views hot tub was great

Beautiful location! Overall out stay was great. Quiet and relaxing. Two items to note: spiral staircase is not for everyone as steps are far apart, slippery, and short; Front door does not stay closed in the wind unless dead-bolted. Other than that, property was great!

Great location, beautiful views. Quiet neighborhood. House was as advertised. We were not able to access the laundry facilities. The door was padlocked. The host did respond promptly when asked. However, we were never able to locate the mysterious‘crystal bowl’ that contained the keys for the padlock.

The house was located where you could see the ocean from afar. The hot tub was nice. Unfortunately I would be aware that when we stayed there the house smelt very musky. I almost instantly gave me a migraine. I definitely would not recommend someone staying there if they are sensitive to strong odor.

Overall we were happy with our stay. But there were a few surprises that made the check-in and first day a bit frustrating. The first issue is 100% my fault, the listing really depicts the place overlooking the ocean. It does, but doesn't show highway 101 just below you on the ocean side. 101 is really busy and noisy, so it did detract from the location. The second was the smell. When we walked in, I was immediately overpowered by the smell. I would describe it as urine, but it may have been something else. It was bothersome enough that we had to go to Walmart and get Pinesol and scrub the floors, which mostly seemed to take care of the smell. The third issue was the laundry. The listing shows laundry is available, but the laundry closet is locked off so we could not use it. This actually was a bit of a problem, because we packed expecting to be able to use laundry, so we really had to stretch our clothes so they lasted the duration of our stay. Finally, the hot tub isn't in great shape. It felt clean, but the controls don't work to set the temperature, and it was always hotter than we were comfortable with. Beyond those issues, the master bedroom upstairs does have a lot of windows and a beautiful view. It was nice to wake up with a view of the ocean each morning. The deck off the master is also fairly nice, though the highway is a bit loud. The grill is brand new and very nice, and the rest of the kitchen was fine.
