Stunning Views-All Day Sun and Amazing Sunsets.

A wonderful location with great views and easy walking to any of Akaroa's attractions. The house is very well equipped making it a pleasure to stay at and creating a very homely feel.

The place was beautifully clean. The kitchen was very well appointed and there was plenty for the kids to do even on the rainy days! The lack of internet was initially a disappointment but ended up being a highlight providing 4 days unplugged from the rat race :-)

The location amenities and communication were excellent. We loved being able to wheel the kayaks down the drive to the beach.

Host had great communication and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Coffee machine was a total perk! Kids play toy box was great for our 2 yr old and 4 yr old. Host left chocolates for us along with a lovely message. Place was immaculate and guests are so close to everything and have the most incredible views of the bay at sunset. Such a wonderful stay with family.

We had a fantastic stay at this property and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was exactly as described (if not better) — spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We were 6 adults and spent 2 nights over New Year’s, it was a memorable experience in Akaroa for our son and daughter-in-law and friends visiting from US.The location was perfect: convenient, quiet, and close to everything.The 3 kayaks were an excellent bonus. The barbecue was the highlight of our New Year’s Eve dinner. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the overall layout made it feel like a home away from home.The host was outstanding — friendly, responsive, and very helpful from booking through to allowing us a late check-out. Communication was clear and prompt, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special.We would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free getaway. The house was amazingly clean and everything worked perfectly. Location was brilliant - central to everything.

Fantastic location with great views of the bay. Two bathrooms and separate toilet suited our adult group. We enjoyed a bbq and games in the well kept garden listening to the birds.

Lovely home in a central location close to everything Akaroa has to offer. Definitely consider coming back in future. House has good amenities. Comfortable beds and a lovely relaxing vibe.

We had a group stay for two nights self catering. The home had everything we needed. We loved the sea views from the deck in the afternoon.

This is the second time we've stayed here as we love the location and the property. It was an excellent base for our weekend away. This year we brought our brother and sister-in-laws with us with two of their grown up kids and the house didn't feel crowded at all. Highly recommended.

We loved this property for its handy location, great views, heaps of amenities, and because it felt like a real holiday home. The fireplace was great for cold weather (very easy to use!). We would strongly recommend it as a place to stay - unless it's during a time we would like to stay there again :)
