We had the best time staying at this home in Ouray. The first things we noted was how kind Corinne and Greg are. They are the owners of the home and are just quality people. They were easy to communicate with and work with. Their home was everything and more than what is claimed online. It exceeded our expectations! Something else we would like to note is how well stocked and positioned the kitchen was. Besides needing to grab food, it had everything we could have needed. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.
Greg and Corrine epitomize hospitality. Everything about our six-week stay was perfect. The house itself offers comfortable beds in every room with bathrooms fully stocked with body wash and numerous towels. The kitchen is fully-stocked with every imaginable utensil. They even provided olive oil! The game rooms were stocked with every imaginable console, board, and card game. Lastly. There was a multitude of beach towels to use at the fantastic Ouray Hot Springs. In short, everything to enhance our vacation was offered or provided by the owners.
This house is amazing and everything we hoped it would be. The location is the best in Ouray with breathtaking views out every single window. The walk to town takes just a few minutes and is incredibly convenient. We stayed a this home during the month of February with our 6 year old twins and enjoyed every second. The house immediately felt like home and is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners are very responsive and as kind as they come. We enjoyed cooking many homemade meals in the chef's kitchen that has every tool available. The kids enjoyed playing in the snow in the large backyard, and in the evenings spent hours playing in the gameroom. During the week the kids had virtual school, and there's a large table in the third story room where they could attend Zoom meetings and complete their homework. The second family room (which is in the back of the house) was a perfect office for my husband that offered quiet conditions and privacy. Our family made memories here that will last a lifetime, and we can't wait to come back!

I usually don’t write reviews but I just had to take the time to thank Gregg and Corinne for making our Colorado hiking vacation so amazing! I have rented quite a few homes over the years and this was by far the most well equipped that I have ever stayed in. The love, care, and thoughtfulness that they have put into every detail is evident throughout the house. It’s like staying with your close friends or relatives who trust you with their nicer things and just want you to have the best and easiest and most relaxing time possible! I promise you, you will want to take care of this home like it is your own! There are easily place settings for at least 20 people, probably more, lots of games in the closet, a TV in 3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The upstairs game room has an air hockey and pool table and other games. There is also a fairly large, nearly empty room upstairs too where young kids could set up toys and play to their heart’s content. We only had teenagers, but I immediately recognized that this home would be good for all ages. There are fans in all the bedrooms if you want. The furnishings are what you would buy if you lived here full time yourself! There is nothing… I mean nothing that was lacking! I often found myself saying… “Geesh! They didn’t have to do this!” Here are the things that I normally have to pack that they actually had on hand for me: Dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, coffee, spices, disinfectant wipes, garbage bags, sandwich bags, foil, saran wrap and so many kitchen food essentials, like vinegar, oil, condiments, sugar, oatmeal, popcorn. They just said, “Feel free to use whatever you want!” I also made sure that I left some things behind that I got at the grocery store to add to their collection in case anyone else wanted it for their stay. I can’t guarantee that you will have all those kitchen supplies, because I don’t even think it is fair to assume that they should provide these things for us, but hopefully renters might carry on a tradition of leaving some things behind! We were greeted by cheese and crackers and sparkling cider, and when they came into town for their anniversary, they even dropped off homemade cookies for us before they left! My teenage son ran over a large rock on the highway, causing some damage to the emission system on our car. Gregg and Corinne called with recommendations for mechanics in the area. So pleased!!!! Stunning views!
Our stay in the House of Yesteryear for Christmas was great. Everything about it was perfect from the kitchen to the bedrooms. The inside had been remodeled and was beautiful. We were close enough to walk to town and the hot springs even in the snow. The view of the amphitheater and Mount Abrams (my favorite) was nice. My family has been coming to Ouray for nearly 40 years and this was a perfect stay for us. The owners Greg an Corinne were more than accommodating. Thank You for a wonderful time.
