Stayed Aug 9, 2025My wife and I booked the home for our 4 college age daughters and their 4 friends. The home worked perfectly for the 10 of us. We rotated cooking duties every night and it worked out beautifully -- the kitchen was well equipped with cooking, plates and utensils. Big open spaces to congregate. The location was perfect -- right on the beach, beautiful sunrise views and a nice swimming pool. The pool got shady in the late afternoon - we enjoyed the respite from the sun. A few nit picky notes -- (1) there was a pretty substantial surcharge to use the hot tub (which we opted out of) (2) the beach equipment was a little beat up and there was no beach umbrella (3) the main window in the dining room was broken and obstructed what should have been a killer view during meals. Overall, a great experience.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was perfect for our large group, with plenty of room to spread out for alone time or be together. The only thing we had an issue with was not being able to heat the pool and spa. We would of loved to be able to use the spa atleast but we're told they were unable to heat it past Oct 1st which is a little silly because the colder months are when someone would prefer to heat the pool and spa. We did the fishing charter off shore and loved it! Overall, a wonderful trip!

Reviewer Comments: Our family has stayed in Palmetto Dunes for the last 13 summers and have enjoyed a variety of vacations in assorted beach homes. We have absolutely loved each trip, but this has been our favorite house so far. The layout of the bedrooms is fantastic. The first floor has 2 bedrooms separated by a large family room (with additional sofa beds). A mid-stair floor offers 2 additional bedrooms (one with bunks) while the primary bedroom can be found on the third floor. This creates areas of privacy for the occupants which is something not found in many homes. The kitchen is really well stocked and has lots of storage. The entire back of the house has windows that overlook the beach. A deck outside spans almost the entire length of the house. We watched deer in the dunes every night.We enjoyed the pool but really took advantage of the beach because the private walk was so easy plus the beach usually had no other occupants.We have already rented this home for next year’s vacation. 5 stars-highly recommend!
