Stayed Jun 28, 2025This was the perfect choice for our family! Walking distance to the beach and plenty of space for everyone. The house was very clean, modern and offered all the right touches to feel homey and not like a sterile vacation rental. The only recommendation would be to have cleaning spray or wipes and plastic wrap, foil and little plastic storage containers available. We ended up purchasing our own to use while at the house. Overall, an excellent house and location. The ocean views were beautiful!!

Stayed Feb 11, 2025We were looking for a property for eight people, and we wanted to be able to cook together, socialize together and just beat together with our family and friends.When we came upon the Compass Star property in Flagler Beach it was too perfect to be true.We didn’t want to get four hotel rooms, but rather a property we could all stay in. In addition, we were attending race events in Daytona Beach and want it to be within that vicinity, but not in a downtown type setting.Flagler Beach is approximately 30 minutes drive from the Daytona raceway, which is perfect.What we really loved about the property is that it’s very clean, our host was especially great as he was in contact and communication along the way until we got checked in.Flagler Beach can be a very busy area when there’s a lot of tourists in town, what’s great about this property is it’s just slightly out of town which leaves you on the quieter side of the beach setting where you can still watch the surfers from an amazing deck view.Comfortable chairs on the patio allow for a great place to socialize. Inside the beds are very comfortable and with eight people and four washrooms that makes it even better.The kitchen has an island type setting and is fully equipped so while a couple of us could always work on dinner prep, the rest of our guests could sit at the island and sip a glass of wine.This home is not the typical type rental that you see, it’s simply a great place to stay, and feels like home, Try it !

Stayed Feb 4, 2024The captivating ocean view kept me constantly gazing out the windows. A highlight of the week for my family was enjoying the ocean sights and sounds together from the comfort of the third-story deck. It was an unforgettable experience. Pack binoculars! In the second-story master suite, my husband and I had the soothing sounds of the ocean to lull us to sleep. Despite the proximity of A1A, the road noise was scarcely noticeable. Although daytime traffic was steady, the ocean sounds overshadowed it. We didn’t notice any traffic sounds at night while sleeping. My family appreciated the comfortable beds. The bunkbeds were the sturdiest we’ve ever encountered. The kitchen was very well equipped with dishes and cookware. The whole house was very clean. The host, Michael, provided outstanding service. He swiftly responded to my inquiries before arrival and was attentive to our needs during our stay. Check-in and checkout were a breeze. It was a wonderful vacation experience for my husband and me and our adult children!
