Stunning lakefront log cabin on a private acre

2nd year staying at this property and we will definitely be returning for more years. Amazing rustic cabin; this home is full of character that takes you back in time and makes you slow down and relax. The 1 acre property is the best Lake Wawasee has to over. Once again, we made some wonderful family memories!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Best location on the lake. We fished successfully right off of the pier. Plenty of room inside for conversation and rainy days. The stove in the kitchen is gem with a grill on it. Good communication with the owner. We would stay again for sure.

We absolutely LOVED the Mavis lodge!! Incredibly cozy, AMAZING location, large yard ( hard to find on Wawasee!) and very flat lot. We will definitely be back...I teared up a bit when we had to leave.

The write up on this property does not do it justice - it's an amazing resort! From it's beautiful lawns & spectacular lakefront view to the spacious log cabin itself, this is one incredible vacation spot! The house is well stocked & boasts a charming but rustic theme throughout. Our guests (as well as ourselves) were knocked out by the entire layout! Even our young relatives mentioned how cool everything was as they toured the cottage. Flint was an excellent host & very helpful with all our questions as well. All in all, we had a fabulous time! Thanks for opening your home for us to enjoy for a week!

Wawasee has changed drastically over the years as the old cottages have been replaced with McMansions on the lake. This property is a great option for those who appreciate the old with an appropriate blend of updates (kitchen and baths). This was our second year, and we have reserved for next year already. Flint is accessible and easy to work with too. Thanks for sharing your family cottage with our family.

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation on Lake Wawasee. The property is very large and was perfect for all of us to be able to be outside.

The location and the lot is beautiful. However, “the lodge” is in a poor conditions and needs to be cleaned properly.

Great space for a family vacation. The lot is beautiful and lots of sleeping/bathroom space. We enjoyed the view of the lake and watching the boats go by. Flint was super helpful.

Great place for family or group. Yard is beautiful and a large well maintained space. Cabin has new kitchen which is well stocked. Updated living area is spacious with good view of lake & yard. 3 Bathrooms are also updated. We found cabin well stocked with sheets, towels, misc supplies. Owner and maintenance team were easy to work with and quickly addressed questions/concerns. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. RM

Our family was very comfortable with our stay at The Lodge. I would venture to say that the lot on which the log cabin sits is the most desirable location on the lake. You cannot beat the size of the lot, the beautiful trees, and the charm of the home. We are hopeful to return in the future.
