Stayed Jul 30, 2025I am a little conflicted about the stay. The house was nice; however, it lacked storage because the owners had every closet and cupboard full of their personal belongings. In most of the bedrooms, there were no dressers, and in two of the bedrooms, there was no TV. In the bedroom I had there was an old pacifier and a COVID face mask under the bed. We also had to call in to open the pool. The pool was dirty despite being told it was cleaned that day. The hot tub was very dirty, the chemicals were very strong, and the water was green. It was a bit disappointing. The bed in the small bedroom was really uncomfortable. The fire pit did not work which was really sad because the kids wanted to roast marshmallows. The glass shower door almost fell off. Most of the outside furniture was all tied up, and we didn't know how to remove everything, so we didn't use it.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025There were things that were great, but also things that weren't. We had to clean the pool ourselves before we could use it (took 3 hours) as well as clean the fireplace before it could be used. We weren't told where things were and had a hard time finding what we needed. The cabinets and drawers in the kitchen were so disorganized and over full, we could hardly find anything. AC worked great and so did the WiFi. Some of the beds were really comfortable. Very spacious and I loved all the windows and natural light.

Stayed Jun 11, 2025We had a lovely stay at the Lake Bluff house! The pool, water slide & hot tub were a big hit with the kids! We also loved we had the option to walk down to Lake Michigan and basically have the beach all to ourselves! (Just as a heads up, there are a lot of stairs to get to & from the beach so just take that into consideration if you have any health concerns!) Recommend this place for your next relaxing & fun family vacation!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Thank you so much for such a great stay. First off the website and reaching someone was so extremely easy and got all of our answers right away! Thank you so much! Now as for the house, it was perfect. Starting at the cleanliness of the home, each room, outside and surrounding property was great. It was so beautiful here. So many great amenities and things to do, pool, Jacuzzi, beach walking distance, fire pit and grilling! The house has everything you need. Thank you so much for a great time.
