For more than 100 years, the Odsherred area with its beautiful beaches and varied landscape has been a favorite vacation spot for Danes. Surrounded by the Isefjord, the Kattegat and thebay of Sejerø, in whose waters the sun is reflected, you will experience a very special atmosphere in Odsherred, which can hardly be found anywhere else in Denmark. You can spend your free time in many different ways. In the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland the use of all amusements is free after paying the entrance fee. There is also a swimming pool in it. Uniquely beautifully located on the bay of Nekselø you will find the exciting Odsherred Zoo in Asnæs. You might also visit the fairytale Dragsholm Castle from the 12th century. In Nykøbing Sjælland you can do good shopping and enjoy the coffee house life. In the small harbor of Rørvig, another vacation gem, there is a fish smokehouse. Try their specialties while your children catch crabs at the pier.
