Stunning family-friendly home with private hot tub overlooking mountains

Beautiful place but the host never responded to my messages about broken glass all around the house. I stepped on a shard the first night and it lodged in my foot. I ended up cleaning countless shards of glass by hand so that my 1 and 3 year old sons wouldn’t step on them or eat them. Very unsafe and zero response from “host”.

Comfortable home for two weeks. Girdwood was the perfect place for us to stay. Internet was intermittent but that’s not we came for.

The property is very nice and had a good view of the mountains. The hot tub was a very nice bonus. Generally, I won't even open the cover on a hot tub because they are usually pretty nasty. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this one is and we enjoyed it.

The condo is nice. It was quiet. Hot tub was lovely. Good location with a nice coffee house and restaurants withing walking distance. Also good hiking within walking distance. The only issue we had was when we arrived after the 4pm check in, the condo had not been cleaned. Used laundry in the tub, beds had not been changed. The management company responded quickly and sent cleaners and did reimburse the cleaning fee. This is the reason for 4 star rating. The management companies need to have better follow-up with the properties they manage.

The apartment was bigger than the pictures make it look which was a pleasant surprise - perfect amount of space for 3-4 people. Everything was clean and in great condition. The hot tub is a great perk to relax after a long day outside. The location was super convenient too - we walked to the coffee shop and grocery store multiple times and never had to drive more than 10 minutes to get to hikes and restaurants in the area. We also appreciated the bear spray and bells for our hikes! The only downside was the hot water couldn’t seem to handle people showering at the same time, and the down stairs neighbor can hear footsteps pretty easily so we had to be careful with moving around. Otherwise everything was great and we would definitely recommend for other groups! Thank you so much!

The property was exactly as listed. Plenty of space for the family, and great views from the deck. Lots of games, and any basics (laundry soap, dishes, shampoos etc) all provided. Great location and easy to get to all kinds of hikes and attractions. We loved it!

Overall a good place. We did have an issue with it not being cleaned when we arrived. Management responded quickly. Waiting to see if they refund our cleaning fee. This condo was very nice, good location, 2 bedrooms and 2 bath rooms was great for 2 couples , comfortable beds and quality furniture throughout. We use the kitchen a lot and it was well stocked with plates, pans, oil, spices. Enjoyed the hot tub. This was the most expensive rental of our Alaska trip and had the latest check-in at 4pm and earliest check-out at 10am of all the places we rented. I would rent again despite the issues.

Well stocked kitchen and linens. Good location, quite, comfortable beds, lots of room and a good selection of games.

Perfect size and location. Beds were comfortable with extra blankets available lots of towels available for showers and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was a great drawing point. I would say the cover on the hot tub could have used a good wipe down. Would have given 5 stars for cleaning but for the dust bunnies under the love seat and on the ceiling fan I noticed while doing yoga.

The place was very clean and much bigger than it looked in photos. The hot tub needed some work and they fixed it immediately! Beds are very cozy and the ski hill is a shuttle or 1 mile drive. Would certainly come again!

Everything from kitchen to bedroom to bathroom and living room was like home..in a good way. Things like qtips and hair dryers in both bathrooms. Quiet neighborhood with a market 1 block away and restaurants. I recommend chair 5. Panoramic view of Alyeska ski hill a mile away. Warning: the door to hottub locks behind you. Really needs a better solution.
