Overall, the house was clean, but there were dirty dishes in the cabinets, which tells me the dishwasher hasn’t worked for a while. We reported a problem w/ dishwasher. Three days later the owner said he would contact his technician, but we never heard anything back from anyone. One of the burners on the stove doesn’t cycle on/off. Other burners worked. Don’t plan to cook much because the kitchen is very minimally equipped — no mixing bowls, one measuring cup (1/4 c.), one pot, no dish towels or paper towels, no knives in utensil drawer. Refrigerator quit dispensing ice and water. In short, those three appliances need replacing.Master shower water pressure was so low I could not get any hot water after running for ten minutes. We showered upstairs, which worked fine, just inconvenient.Washer and dryer looked new and worked very well. The bed in the master was very comfortable. We appreciated having recliners in the living room.

My main disappointment with my stay stems from the lack of hot water in this home during 45-degree weather. Even after contacting the host, he did not address the issue and his main concern was with the amount of people staying in the home, which he said impacted our access to hot water. However, when I had contacted him only 2 people had showered in the space and no hot water had yet been used. We reserved the space for a family baptism and this made it very difficult for the family to prepare and get ready for this special event. Additionally, upon my response that 6 adults from my family were staying the host proceeded to try to charge me additional fees after I had already checked out. He claimed that I did not register these additional guests. However, when I reserved the space I did not see a place to add additional guests. So, if you are looking to book this space with multiple people, be sure you list the guests somewhere so you don't potentially get unexpected charges. Upon my refusal to pay these unexpected fees, and only after asking for a detailed breakdown of what the fees were for and suggesting we discuss this with the VRBO administrators did the host finally decide to waive the fee. Finally, if you read the previous reviews you will see that the hot water issue is an ongoing problem with this reservation. The host needs to address this problem so that other guests don't experience this issue. Thank you.

The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for my family. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The only cons we had were when we arrived due to the uncut grass in the back there was a small lizard on the door. We did find a dead cockroach but didn’t see any others during our stay. Also, the house didn’t have hot water and the water pressure wasn’t that great. Other than that we would totally stay here again. We loved the house a lot despite the above mentioned. Also, my daughter left her childhood blanket and the owner was more than happy to mail the blanket back to me which was such a blessing.
