Studio with shared dock & amazing view of Moosehead Lake & Mt. Kineo

We fell in love with this house, it was perfect for us over Christmas. Of course we would love to come back in the summer when we could use all it offers, but we still had a wonderful stay. There is not one thing that we could even possibly complain about, it was fabulous on all levels.

Great house and beautiful views!

We loved everything about this home! Comfortable and clean home with all the amenities needed during our stay in Maine. The sunset views on the river were amazing. We enjoyed meals from the well appointed kitchen and had a wonderful time with the collection of board games.

Great stay with a fantastic view. Cleanliness was incredible. Everything was properly stocked and appointed for an easy stay with the family. Would definitely return!

This is a beautiful house with gorgeous views of the river. We enjoyed looking out and saw a pair of bald eagles several times. The house was new and clean and well stocked in the kitchen. It includes a hot tub and a washer dryer which is a nice perk. The only downside is that Vacasa was not responsive to our messages. I asked for check in information and did not receive it until I called. I also informed them that the hot tub was not accessible and had snow piled around it. We were only there for the weekend and they did not respond for over a day offering for us to shovel ourselves or ask one of their crew to come and shovel it for us. However, by that time 4am Sunday we were checking out in six hours. We also let them know the grill was out of propane, and they responded to ask is the tank light when you lift it, and it is only available seasonally, which is not reflected in the listing. We were looking forward to using the amenities (grill and hot tub) for our weekend getaway, and I mentioned it in my opening message, but they were not ready for us when we arrived. Overall it is a lovely house and a beautiful area close to Wiscaset, Boothbay Harbor, and other towns, but communication and follow through with the property manager was lacking.

Property is very nice overall starting to show a little wear mostly in the kitchen- paint chipping on some of the cabinets, garbage cabinet could use replaced. Was very clean on arrival. The only issue was hot tub- it was not clean or usable upon arrival. Called Vacasa and they said they would call me back. They callled the next morning but the usual hot tub guy had already shown up and cleaned and treated the hot tub. They did issue a small refund for not being able to use the hot tub for part of our stay, which was appreciated but we were only there 2 nights so was a bit disappointed that we had to deal with that .Overall it was a nice property

Cookware is top notch

This house overlooks the Sheepscot river where you can view the tides going in and out and the sunset in the evening. There is boat dock and the river is perfect for kayaking. The location is proximal to Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor, all lovely NE towns.

Wonderful seclusion while being close to beautiful places. Wish he had more time!!

Home was great from the home itself to the view to the hot tub

From start to finish this home provided a fabulous stay. The home is quiet yet conveniently located for exploring the Boothbay and Pemaquid peninsulas. On arriving, the landscaping is beautiful and the views of the river are wonderful. The home was spotless and has terrific amenities. The kitchen has high-end appliances and would be great for prepping meals. Beds and furnishing were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the deck and soaking in the hot tub in the evenings. The living areas are beautifully furnished and comfortable. Our stay was fantastic! We couldn't have asked for more.

This home is simply beautiful from the moment you pull into the driveway, you are welcomed with well manicured gardens hosting vibrant perennials and annuals. The entire property is creatively landscaped all the way down to the dock. It is not your usual Maine rental property, it is private with multiple levels which gives everyone space to hang in two different quiet living rooms, outdoor decking, or take a book down to the river's edge and enjoy the views. The kitchen is great for preparing all your meals with Wolf gas stove, 2 wall ovens, 2 chillers and lots of room for everyone to hang in the kitchen. The upper level (dining and living space with half bath) is where your entire family can lounge after dinner and watch the sun set, t.v., or a soak in the saltwater hot tub on the lower decking to unwind and relax after a day out and about. It was very exciting to see a bald eagle twice late in the day from the hot tub. This home is designed so that every room has a view of the river. The beds are super comfortable, A/C throughout, bathrooms are very nice, home is lovely for vacationing. Conveniently located just over the Wiscasset Bridge and only 20 minutes from Booth Bay Harbor. So many things to do locally, kayaking, beaches, places to eat, shop and visit within 20 minutes. This Edgecomb Riverhouse property is quite the find!

This home was beautiful and modern with most everything we needed. It served as a great place to visit Boothbay Harbor, Pemaquid Point, and Popham Beach. We would rent this home again if we come back to the area.

Beautiful house. Excellent location ,outstanding view. Very well furnished with everything you need. All premium appliances. Pictures don't do justice. Nice quiet neighborhood. I would rent again.
