This is a very nice property that is near beaches, Wellfleet, Eastham, Turo, and the Cape Cod Bike Trail. The 4 BRs and 3 Baths worked out well for our group and we liked the outdoor seating areas. The home was comfortable, welcoming and clean although there is some minor maintenance in progress that did not interfere with our stay. It was extremely peaceful and we enjoyed the marsh view.

My friends and I had a fantastic weekend at this house and will definitely attempt to stay here in the future! Everything was clean and working upon arrival, and we spent a ton of time in the backyard and on the patio due to the beautiful view of the marsh. We appreciated the privacy of the house and yet we were no more than a 10 minute drive from all of our favorite spots in Wellfleet. We had 8-9 people in our group and everyone had enough room to sleep comfortably and spread out as needed. This was our first time staying on the Outer Cape after Labor Day and if you are looking to avoid the summer crowds this is the ideal place to do so. Highly reccomend!

What a wonderful spot to spend a week on the Cape - enjoying the stunning & peaceful surroundings of the private yard, & beautiful view of the marsh. Sharing it with good friends made it even that much more special. New cherished memories made, which will keep us smiling throughout the year…until our next visit. The house itself couldn’t be set-up more perfectly - to host late-night chats among family & friends, game nights, & delicious Cape Cod meals. Inside & out, this place is our new Slice of Heaven in Welfleet. Thank you!

This place is acceptable. Location: 5 stars Cleanliness: 3.5 stars Amenities: 2 stars Upkeep: 4 Deal: 4 stars Location: Great quiet neighborhood, is close to other houses but still feels isolated. Lovely view of the bay. 10 minute drive to the town of wellfleet. Quick 5 minutes to the nearest very nice beach. Cleanliness: Nothing was gross but also nothing was particularly clean or well put together. It seems like they do a very rudimentary tidy up before you arrive, make bed, empty dishwasher, wipe down surfaces, thats about it. There were a few small trash cans they had forgotten to empty, the outdoor patios had not been swept down or reset, many of the windows had heavy layers of dead bugs and dust, nothing thats gonna ruin your holiday but also a bit less then you would expect from a nice company owned house. I think my main issue with this was that we had asked for an early check-in and didn't get it which I didn't have an initial issue with thinking that it takes a while to clean a large house like this one, however arriving and realizing they had barely cleaned then frustrated me. Amenities: This is probably the most frustrating part to me. The amenities were terrible. They left a little plastic baggie with a few dishwasher tabs, washing machine tabs, trash bags, and a cut in half sponge. I don't know if they were trying to cut costs or something, but it was nowhere near enough. We were 7 people eating three meals a day for four days. We ended up needing to go out and BUY dishwasher tabs, trashbags, handsoap (they had left two for four sinks,) cleaning spray, and paper towels. We were also out of trashbags by the time we left and were about to run out of toilet paper. One or two of the bathrooms had complimentary body wash etc, but not all of them and so we had to go out and buy that as well. All and all it just came across as extremely cheap and frustrating given that if we had known they weren't providing the basics, we would have brought them from home. Upkeep: We were only in the house for three nights so I can't speak to this too much, but several of the screen doors had rips in them so bugs got in and many of the out door cushions were less than clean. The outdoor lawn and plants were well maintained. Deal: Overall, there are much more expensive places on in the area that fit the same amount of people and also places that are a lot worse than this for more, so I can't say I don't recommend it. I would just say don't go in expecting a lot and make sure to bring your own basics. Side note - when you are assigning rooms, the room above the Garage seems like the nicest however it does not have an attached bathroom, the light streams in extremely bright in the morning, and the mattress is very stiff. If this bothers you I would take the other master that is smaller but with a King bed (apparently thats a much nicer mattress too.) I will say though, that its the most quiet so if noise bothers you then definitely grab it! I would also say that this house is very strangely designed so while it may have a lot of rooms and options as shown in the pictures, you will find that many of the spaces are almost useless or just not very appealing (like the basement space.) So don't be fooled by the amount of square footage. Still plenty of room for a large group though!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather was great. Overall impression about the house was OK. Master bedroom was good. The attached bedroom was spacious enough but soundproofing was horrible. The separate bedroom was great for the exception of a bathroom one floor below. Otherwise, great vacation house.

The property itself was excellent. It was a perfect set up for our 2 families plus our parents. All 3 groups were able to have our own bathroom close to our bedrooms. When the teenagers stayed up late at night in the basement game room, we could not hear them. It was a surprisingly clean, comfortable space in the basement. The place was well stocked other than a lack of kitchen towels. There was only a single kitchen towel in the entire house that we could find. Since we were each supplied with a hand towel in addition to our wash cloth and bathroom towels, we were able to take a couple of the clean hand towels intended for the bathrooms and designate them for kitchen use and then we’re able to wash them through the week to keep us adequately supplied in the kitchen. The washer and dryer worked well and there was an excellent convenient set up for us to all share use. Good available space in the garage to safely store our bikes overnight. Close enough to the bike path to comfortably ride back-and-forth from the house. I don’t love the policy of only supplying starter rolls of items like paper towels and toilet paper, soap, dish soap and dishwasher soap. I don’t think it makes a ton of sense but I know other properties do this as well. The cleaners were not done cleaning the house upon arrival. We had to wait 40 minutes after check-in time to get into the house. I felt concerned when my two messages that I sent to the owner went unanswered both times, sent months apart. I did call the Vrbo property managers however and was able to get my answer to the second question. I think some more clear direction about the beach passes would be helpful. We did get the beach sticker as recommended for the Wellfleet beaches. We did not understand however that the closest beach, Marconi beach, which is a public beach/park has its own pass. We could have gotten a weekly sticker with that beach/ park for $60 rather than paying the $100 for the private beaches. I do think that the private beaches were actually nicer as we did ride our bikes to Marconi Beach and we’re able to compare. I think more detailed instruction in the housing information provided would avoid confusion for us on that first day. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property. My criticism is constructive only for benefit of future renters. Thanks for a great week!

This property was amazing for a long girls weekend. The house is beautiful, it was clean, and exactly as it looked in the pictures. The yard was amazing for yard games. Location was great - we were in and out of Truro and Provincetown very easily. I did not decrease any stars for this, but there were a few small things that need attention. The hot coffee maker in the kitchen does not work (front button is missing), but was still on the counter, for example. This did not bother us at all though! I am already looking into this property again for a long weekend with family - would highly recommend!
