Stayed Dec 27, 2025Fantastic house!! The owners have done an amazing job of fitting it out with everything you need on a beach holiday. It’s organised , clean, lots of space for everyone, and nestled into the bush making you feel very calm and relaxed. We have stayed at many rentals on the island but this was by far the most well-equipped, clean and thought out! 10/10 recommend.

Stayed Nov 29, 2024Place is tidy and well appointed Kitchen had everything you’d need to entertain 10 people. Also great to be able to take our family dog, yard was adequate with hose and household vacuum to keep the place tidy thought our stay.

Stayed Sep 14, 2024We had a fabulous stay in Straddie House 1 for the first week of the school holidays. The location is excellent being a walk to the beach, hotel and bowls club and a short drive to anything else. The amenities in the house enable you to bring your clothes and food and settle in as if you were home….there is everything need. Thank you for a fabulous family holiday

Stayed Dec 16, 2023Loved it! Day one feeling pretty stressed from a busy year at work. Day two totally relaxed! Best holiday ever. Stayed Oct 1, 2023We had the most magical holiday ever at Straddie beach house. There was enough room for two families. The house is very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were amazing and the beds were very comfortable. So close to the beach and a sturdy cart thoughtfully provided to pull our stuff down there. Also you could walk to the pub. The two decks were great as the kids could have one and the adults have the other. Our host gave us wonderfully clear instructions and was very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Sep 16, 2023Straddie has been very special for us all for many years and our annual September holiday is a highlight of our year. The house is ideal for a family such as ours...three generations.
