The size and layout were awesome. The view from the living room was just picturesque. And so close to the mountain. BUT! so many broken things. The foozball table was broken (which was a large part of the reason we rented besides location), a small end table was broken, the main living fireplace switch was broken and only worked full blast, the master suite fireplace only worked on the lowest setting, a fire alarm battery located 15 feet up on the wall chirped night one and that meant we all got to sleep late day 1 by the time the nicest repair guy got it all situated, SO many plates and mugs were chipped and not safe for kiddos, and several ceiling lights were out. Plus the house was ice cold when we arrived and took all night to heat up - fine for adults, but for an infant under 1 who couldn’t be buried in blankets, this was not okay. Overall, a great space, but it needs some work and we need a discount for dealing with all this and more.

This place was perfect for 9 people. It was beautiful and spacious! It was located close to everything we needed too! We would love to stay here again~ ?

This was our second year at the cabin and we loved it again! The layout is perfect for families with three bedrooms downstairs, the master room on the main floor with kitchen and living room, and the upstairs loft. I was appreciative of the kitchen supplies- the pans that are still non stick, the sharp knives, scissors.. simple things that we take for granted at home and frequently are overlooked in rental cabins! Maybe I couldn't find it, but it could use a larger cutting board and a dish drying rack... but minor minor suggestions. A fun new addition was the foosball table in the loft. The kids loved playing with it! The sleds that were there last year were not there this year.. but we still had a blast in the backyard's fresh snow. Our family has made lifelong memories here and we hope to return next year!

Very nice home. Easily sleeps 11 people. Some work needs to be done on the cleaning part between rentals. We found a ton of debris under the couch and beds. All appliances and utensils on site. Great lighting. TV’s throughout. There’s a bent and torn rug that many people tripped over on several occasions, that should be repaired or replaced. But overall, Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and cozy home with lots of space for large families. Just needs to tighten things up on the maintenance side. Some tables were wobbly. Window cranks were broken on arrival. But overall a good place to stay.

We had a wonderful family trip to Mammoth! We spent lots of time in the cabin with two toddlers and two preschoolers as we watched one of the biggest snow storms from the windows. We appreciated many things about the cabin: the large space, the room layout, the cleanliness, the kitchen tools, working heater evenly throughout the cabin, provided shovel and sleds in the garage, etc. We had fun playing in freshly fallen powder snow right outside the cabin and the location was a very easy drive to Canyon Lodge (especially important since we did not want to be on the icy roads for long)! We were grateful that they had a snow plow come every morning to clear out the street. A couple minor things that needed improvement: the internet was very poor throughout our stay (they dropped off a wifi hot spot during our stay, but it still did not work) and the dishwasher didn't worked sometimes. I wish the management team would have been a more flexible in letting us check in a little early. We had four young children in the middle of the snow storm and we were waiting to get keys for the empty cabin. We called and they were not flexible, even though we had emailed many days before requesting the early checkin. Looking at the booking calendar, there were no other renters the days before so the cleaning shouldn't have been a problem and we didn't see any cleaners leave the cabin while we were waiting. This is the first time I have stayed at a cabin that didn't say, sure an hour early is no problem. It was not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to have a little understanding and to get the young children in the warm cabin sooner. Overall, we loved our stay and would be happy to return next year!

Close to shops and stores and mammoth village , but just far enough to feel in the mountains.

Pros: -clean and well equipped with kitchen supplies, sleds/shovels, etc. -great space and plenty of options for sleeping arrangements for larger groups -close proximity to Canyon Lodge -very responsive property management Minor cons: -wifi didn’t work, property management supplied a hot spot which also was spotty -dishwasher worked sometimes and sometimes stopped halfway through the cycle -requested early check in months before and again closer to check in date since we noticed there was no one there during the week before our stay. We would have really appreciated an hour or so earlier because we had toddlers and it was storming hard outside. We were parked outside the cabin and no one was there cleaning beforehand. This is the first vrbo rental that hasn’t been flexible with an early checkin when the unit was available and clean. We would love to stay here again in the future!
