We had wounderful time. The house was clean, warm and cozy. Location is great. Property manager responds quick. We even received new year theme napkins, cookies and a Thank you card from the owner as a complimentary, which was a very nice surprise. We are planning to rent it again in a summer time. Thank you.
Great place for a family vacation!
Stayed with family for a week in Aug. We all had a great time. Plenty of room, beds were a bit uncomfortable and cleaning crew could be better. Overall great time on the lake, use of the boat, grill for dinners, fishing, campfires and sitting in the sun room. Owner and property manager Woody very responsive. Will enjoy renting again for more summers to come.
the stay was great. We had issues with the boat. Either the batteries were bad or the charge did not work properly.
This was a fabulous place for us to stay. It was near family that we were visiting and offered a beautiful backdrop and tons of fun water activities. The property is extremely clean and Woody was super responsive when we needed help. Although they couldnʻt repair the pontoon boat, the fact that they contacted a boat repairman was excellent. There were many kayaks, paddle boards and floaties to enjoy the lake! Love this home and would stay again next year.
Had an amazing weekend with family at this house. It was everything they said it was. House was clean, plenty of space for all. Pontoon boat was great. Lots of time on the lake fishing, swimming and kayaking. Lake was really clear. Looking forward to another weekend at the lake.
We enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing weekend away at this gorgeous lake house. Thirteen women slept comfortably, cooked and enjoyed meals, went on walks, kayaked, roasted marshmallows around the fire pit, etc. Particular highlights were the sunroom where morning coffee and conversations were enjoyed, sitting on the dock enjoying the breathtaking view (sunsets!), and the large dining area where everyone fit around the table and island. The kitchen is well stocked with every small appliance that you could need to make meals. The beds and blankets are super comfortable. Super fast wifi even when 13 people were online at once. We will be back in the fall to enjoy the fall colors!
A group of us spent the week before the New Year lounging at the property. The lake was mostly frozen so we did not do any water activities, but the place was large enough for six adults to relax. We were Covid-cautious and the space allowed us to maintain social distance. We also appreciated the decks of cards, fully-stocked kitchen, and windowed porch, so we could play games and relax. Also great was that the property did not have scented products (i.e., no plug-ins, scented candles, etc.) since some members of our group have fragrance sensitivities and I had forgotten to mention it, but turns out it was a non-issue since no such products were used anyway. We would definitely stay here again.
We live in the area and needed extra room for our friends for the weekend. The house gave us exactly what we needed and our friends were very impressed with the accommodations. We’ll definitely use it again.
2 couples recently stayed at this home for a long weekend. Unfortunately we picked the weekend when Hurricane Ian was finding it's way up north, so the weather was cloudy/rainy and cold. We couldn't get out and hike as much as we'd hoped, so we left a day early. The house had a nice layout and was well equipped. Having lots of bedroom choices was helpful. Had the weather been nice the view out onto the lake would have been awesome. You couldn't really walk the neighborhood the way it was laid out. There aren't a lot of hiking areas right nearby, but we did drive around a few state parks which were nice. The only problem we had was the refrigerator froze a number of the food items we brought and we had to throw them out. We didn't think the settings looked weird, but something was definitely up.
We stayed for two weeks and we had a wonderful time The boat was so nice, the beach was nice, the house was wonderful - (Totally recommend for Four Blooms restaurant we ate there about four or five times) :-) . Hopefully we can come back again next year thank you so much. Joanne
great property, rooms are layed out well, easy access to the lake, great views from inside the home, and plenty of kayaks paddleboards etc... the poontoon boat really made it, the fishing is excellent there, our only complaint would be could use a full size second fridge in the downstairs
This is a great vacation home! The listing is exactly what you get, simple as that. Relaxing, swimming, boating, fishing and making family memories. We highly recommend this property!
This house was excellent! Spacious, very clean, well-stocked, and the views/lake access are incredible. The layout worked well for our group: adults in the king rooms and kids in the fun bunk room. The furniture and bedding were all new and in excellent shape. Property manager was super responsive and friendly. We took full advantage of all the SUPs, kayaks, and pontoon boat—it made vacation so easy. We will definitely stay here again.
We usually do a beach vacation, but the grandsons have been enjoying fishing so we decided to try the lake vacation. This was the most relaxing family vacation ever. There were three generations , 10 in our group, and everyone loved it. The owners have kayaks and paddle boards to use and we also rented their pontoon boat which really was a nice addition. It’s electric motor only on the lake, which made it nice to get around in the kayaks and paddle boards and we all enjoyed swimming in the lake too. The house was beautiful and perfect for our group and as shown. The owners were fabulous to deal with and quick to respond to emails. Sheets are not provided, but I ordered through Pocono Linens, and they were waiting for us. We’re looking forward to returning to this house in the future!
This is the 2nd time we stayed at this house and everything was perfect again. We rented the pontoon boat for the week and it was great to drive around the lake and fish from. We caught numerous fish and everyone enjoyed relaxing on the boat! The Check in process is simple and the house was clean. The kitchen has all the supplies you need to cook, you will not need to bring anything from home. All the bedrooms had enough blankets and the beds were comfortable. We all had a great time and hope to be back next year!
My third time renting this house! This time, my entire family from grandparents to grandkids enjoyed this lake house for a full week of summer fun! The house was immaculately clean and well stocked. The beds were so comfortable, even our picky elderly parents said they had wonderful nights of sleep. We enjoyed the boat, kayaks, paddle boards as well as fishing and swimming off the dock and boat. Because the lake only allows electric boats, it is very clean, quiet, and swimming is safe even for little ones (no jet skis or speed boats zipping by). We were there during the week of July 4th and enjoyed a spectacular fireworks show from the boat. After big family dinners cooked in the well stocked kitchen, we enjoyed sunset cruises; s'mores around the firepit; board games, movies, and foos ball late into the night.
The home was as advertised. Clean and sufficient for a family of 14. Kids enjoyed the bunk room. All the beds had a good mattress. Kitchen was fully stocked, all the utensils and appliances needed. We also rented the pontoon boat for the week. It functioned well and was enjoyed by all the family members. The kids utilized the paddle boards and kyachs. Fishing was good off of the deck and the boat.
