The house was immaculate! We loved being right next to Myers Park, where we took many walks each day. They also have swimming there as well. The house has a fantastic backyard! It was great to have a gas grilll! The owner of the house was extremely responsive to all of my questions...We took many long rides in this beautiful countryside. It was just what a New York City family needed!
We stayed at the Hornibrook's home for three nights in July 2020. The home was large, clean and had enough space for our merged families of 8 adults and teens. It was a few minutes walk from Meyer's Park and the marina and has a nice large backyard for a campfire and grilling. Check in was simple and we had no issues with anything during our stay except for a lost remote control, which was addressed quickly by the co- host, Mary. It should be noted that the house has an attached apartment with a tenant, but this did not get in our way at all and had no impact on our stay. The tenant has a separate entrance and the only time we crossed paths was in our search for linens in the shared laundry room. She was pleasant and helpful as well. We were satisfied with our stay and recommend this home to others. It was nearby to the state parks and Ithaca. We found everything we needed in the local community. It was a good location and a great price.
