The location of the property is walking distance to downtown. We felt safe and like the off street parking. I definitely would recommend this property.

The house worked perfect for a weekend guys trip for mountain biking. The location was great. We were a little concerned after we realized the house didn’t have HVAC and it was going to be in the 80’s that weekend, but the 2 portable ac units kept the house cool. One suggestion I would make would be to place instructions for departure somewhere in the home. We didn’t see any, so we went off of memory from other places we have stayed as to what we should do before leaving the home.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute & cozy home. Just 4 minutes from the town square and very close to our concert venue. There was a fold up cot/bed, so could comfortably sleep 5-6 people. Will stay here again if ever in the area!

Pros: location is great!!! Very close to downtown. Super easy check in and out process. Bathroom and shower were clean and very nice. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked stocked with the essentials. Very easy parking.Cons: no central A/C, and the A/C units provided were very loud. An older home that could use some updating. The back door could use a curtain or blind. It gets very hot in the kitchen in the afternoon and felt a little eerie at night with no way to cover the window. Overall we enjoyed our short stay! Perfect for a quick getaway and be close to the action downtown.

Although we struggled with the water heater pilot light going out and no hot water for 1/2 of our stay, communication with the owner was timely and addressed the issue quickly.

Location was amazing. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn’t work, the power to most rooms and air conditioners went out, and on our second day the hot water didn’t work so we took cold showers. The property manager was quick to respond on the WiFi and power issue. We were able to reset the tripped breakers once we located the electrical panel, but the WiFi never worked. We didn’t call about the hot water because we were a few hours from leaving. I’m sure most of these items were random occurrences that just all stacked up on us but thought it worthy of sharing.

Basic, older home, as listed. Nice, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown and sufficient AC for June weather. Interior badly needs new paint--which would make it go a long way to feeling cleaner. Dust, stain on rug, dirty windowsills, etc. Remodeled bathroom was nice.

Brandie’s place was in the perfect location for what I needed. It was clean, had everything I needed, and had room for me to park my work trailer. The ceiling fans were also nice to help circulate the humid damp air in the evenings.

Thank you for offering a great location for folks to stay! This quaint home is within 5 minutes of everyone & everything we needed. The first night that we pulled in to the nicely graveled parking spot, we enjoyed watching a bunny hop into the nearby shrub. To our surprise, it flushed out several deer that darted around the yard. Nicely cued, Hosts. The patio is a perfect spot for morning coffee. Your neighborhood is serene and your home is peaceful. Some first-world points to note:- The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Thank you for the starter supply of coffee! We just couldn’t find smoke alarm batteries when the one and only only smoke detector in the home started chirping.- Your bathroom remodel is classy. Glad to have found a cutting board in the kitchen to cover the sink for makeshift counter space. (We’re both a little germaphobic and gave it a solid cleaning every day.) Without surfaces like a shelf or other space, I struggled to get ready. Maybe shelves above the toilet would help? Nonetheless, you have a good-looking place to get ready, with bright lighting & it’s kind of you to have soap, shampoo and conditioner available. - The bed was a combo of soft-enough-for-me, yet somehow firm enough for my hubs. We ended up putting a dark blanket over the window but slept comfortably. ZZZ- The futon was uncomfy but we were grateful for a place to watch a little TV before retiring for the night.Overall, we’d stay again & wish you great success!

The house was adequate for a single guy or a couple guys if needed. There were no frills or bells & whistles. The wood floors have been well loved and paint on the walls is incomplete. The lack of central or radiant heat was something I had never experienced. The stand alone units did the job, but they were loud and obnoxious. The location was excellent - it was a 10-12 minute walk to downtown and a few minute bike ride to either the Bad Apple creek trailhead or the Compton Gardens trailhead.

First of all I’m glad it was dark when I arrived because I would’ve been looking for a yellow house on the corner (house is now black)😂 luckily gps took me right to it. House is absolutely perfect for friends or family taking a mtb trip/vacation. I really don’t think a bunch of girls or wives would care too much for it, but for the boys it’s perfect! I put my buddy in the bunk bed room, while I took the good bed and air conditioning room, my bed was awesome he really didn’t care for the bunk😂 anyway awesome place, we’ll be back again.

The property is close to downtown and MTB trails so once you park, you can ride your bike to where you need to go. Each morning, we started our day cooking breakfast at the house and then bike riding to the trails. We rode Friday and Saturday on multiple trails and ate lunch downtown each day. We would then bike ride back to the property. Dinner was at the house each night. The property met our needs for the long weekend. It is located in a nice neighborhood. We all said we would stay there again.

House was simple, but clean. Suited our needs well as we visited mostly with our son. Bed was pillowtop and we are used to firmer mattress. TV was smarter than what we were, lol, so couldn't view it. House was very close to downtown, for anyone wanting to spend time there.

We had such a great time in this little cottage house. It's a little older and has some quirks, but it was exactly what I expected as far as a place to stay in what I would consider a more historical part of town. The neighborhood is quaint and everyone was very friendly! Lots of folks out walking dogs and you're about a 3 minute walk from a cute coffee spot around the block. We were a very short drive from the town square and farmer's market, plus you're surrounded by parks and bike trails. The location is definitely a perk! Check-in was super easy and the kitchen was stocked well. The cooling system is a little loud, so if you're a light sleeper pack some ear plugs. When I reserved the house, the photos of the exterior were white, so don't be alarmed when you see a house with newer black siding. It's obvious that the host is working on fixing up a little bit as they can, which is awesome! All in all it fit our needs perfectly! I enjoy the experience of older houses, so I don't mind the quirks that come with them, but if you're looking for something super modern then this probably isn't for you.

I don’t like to post negative reviews but feel compelled to give the property an honest assessment. For the duration of our 4 day 3 night stay there was no WiFi or internet. The moment we walked in the door we were hit by a strong mold smell that endured for our entire stay. There was a large collection of bugs in the bathroom light fixture. The free standing AC units in the living room and bedroom were extremely loud making it hard to sleep. The second bedroom had bunk beds not shown in the pictures. This property does not meet the minimum standard of VRBO. All the positive reviews are bogus in my opinion.

This house is perfect for a couples getaway. Also good for those visiting Crystal Bridges and Farmers Market. Looks like there is some renovations being done on the inside. Some parts of house still need some repairs. But generally comfortable.
