The light-filled sunroom — complete with a foosball table —is where lazy mornings tend to stretch well past noon. When the mood finally strikes to venture outside, scallop-trimmed umbrellas and a swaying hammock make it easy to settle right back in. Fire up the grill, gather around the outdoor dining table, and let the evening unfold at its own pace.

Four bright, airy bedrooms offer everyone their own quiet corner to land in, while the Primary Bedroom opens onto a private balcony with rocking chairs — the perfect spot to catch the breeze and listen to the waves roll in. It's that sound that tends to follow guests home long after checkout.

*This is an OLD house so please take note before booking and respect the structure*
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Rideshare and taxi service is extremely hard to arrange last minute. Please try your best to schedule these services in advance if they are needed.
- Please note that the home does get warm during the day in the summer. The air conditioning is running properly but due to the house being old, it is hard for the ac to keep up.
- Each closet has a fan for the guest to use. We also recommend keeping the doors shut and sliding glass doors on the patio shut.
- Please note that the downstairs shower is located in the hallway and has minimal privacy.
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am
- Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- No Live TV, only apps guests will have to sign into to stream TV.
- The property south of the home is currently under construction, which may result in noise between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Please note that the backyard is part of Hilton Head’s natural dune preservation area, and guests may encounter natural elements such as wildlife and sand spurs. We highly recommend wearing shoes when walking from the house to the beach.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones!

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    Beautiful house right on the beach. Well stocked , clean, and cozy beds. Was just a short stay for a funeral unfortunately, but was nice to watch football and relax and listen to the waves.

    We really enjoyed our first time visiting Hilton Head Island and this older home was a hidden gem surrounded by beautiful beach houses some still being constructed. If you enjoy older homes would definitely recommend place. The views and beach were beautiful and there was shopping and restaurants within fifteen minutes walking distance. The only drawback was the traffic mainly getting there on Saturday but that should be expected. We loved our stay there.

    This is our second time to stay at Sandpiper. We have been to HHI many times, and this is one of our favorite houses. We had a group of 7, and the home fit us perfectly. The 3 kids loved having the downstairs to themselves! The upstairs is roomy and feels like a beach cottage. The screened in porch is the perfect place to relax. It has great beach access and the beach area is not too crowded. We enjoyed are stay and would recommend this cozy house!

    This house and location was PERFECT for our vacation. We enjoyed grilling out a few evenings in the privacy of the spacious back yard. It is conveniently located close to everything, but just outside of the congested areas. The beach was almost like having our on private section. We will definitely rent it again. I included a picture of our morning view from the porch where we drank coffee everyday and enjoyed the sounds of the waves crashing at high tide.

    All good except comforters too thick and heavy. Whatever happened to a blanket on a bed? Please leav a blanket or two for guests who want a light covering. All else great

    We had a great time during our week in Hilton Head! Ours was a family vacation with 6 adults and 2 young children ages 3 and 5. The location was awesome - direct beach access, very nice neighborhood, quiet area, and within a 15 min walking distance to shops and restaurants in Coligny Plaza – couldn’t have been better! We found the house clean with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo and laundry detergents as well as equipped with some family games and beach items. The kitchen was well-stocked with good dishes, utensils, pots/pans and appliances all in working order. The bedrooms were spacious and we enjoyed sitting on the screened patio taking in the ocean view. The house, itself, was a disappointment. We expected the property would be old based on the description, however, the condition of the property was not up to par for the price point. The condition of the house is very worn. With the exception of the master bathroom, all the other bedroom/bathrooms look to be original. There was an overall impression of minimal exterior maintenance. Dead overgrown vegetation clinging to the balcony and a front door in need of new paint and/or a good scrub. Bug webs and/or cocoons were all around the outside entry way and at least one wasp nest on the garage door. The backyard grass area was trimmed but was overrun with prickly weeds and ants everywhere which prevented us from enjoying this great space.
