Stellar Fort Walton Retreat ~ 2 Mi to Beach!

I was honestly a bit hesitant on this booking after reading the reviews but Im glad I didn't base my booking on that. I wanted to leave an honest review.As far as location, it was about a 12-15 min drive to the public beach. Walmart is about 2 mins away which was very convenient. There is actually all kinds of restrruant choices within minutes away. The house was furnished beyond expectations. There were plenty of cups, plates, pots, pans, cutlery, spatulas, etc. There was also a keurig, coffee pot, and toaster. The pictures really dont do justice on the amount of room you have. Theres a big living room and seperate dining area. There is an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. The back yard has tsble with chairs,a fire pit, and charcoal grill. There was a cute basket by the door with beach towels, seashell bags, and a beach blanket. There were some beach toys outside. The washer and dryer worked great! There was complimentary shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tooth brushes, makeup remover towelettes, etc If I was to make one complaint it would be the size of the stand up shower in the moon room bathroom. It's not very spacious. The water pressure was FANTASTIC! There are plenty of towels, washclothes, hand towels, etc. The backdoor handle was broke to the sliding glass door and I text the host. The response back was quick! All in all it was a great experience and you wont be disappointed with the stay! Thank you for allowing my family to stay in your home.

The tub was not cleaned properly the curtains was outdated. There was roaches in the tub, cabinets, and got in our food.

The most frustrating thing was the limited utensils and cookware. Usually people rent homes vs hotels bc they want to cook and save money on food. This home advertised it sleeps 10. You would expect more utensils and plastic utensils flimsy and one broke, NO CUTTING BOARD, knives super dull, pots and pans in horrible shape scratched and couple were so old looking I wanted to throw away but I didn’t. Supplies and items need to be ready and in good working order if you are going to rent out a place to familles and do this for a business. This home should be kept up with all the necessities for a vacation. Curtains in main room had holes in them, towel holder in bathroom coming out of wall, many things need to be maintained oh and the BBQ grill rusted in horrible condition couldn’t even use it! The bed in the room with clouds on the wall was super firm not very comfortable at all. No extra sheets or pillow cases in closets, some extra pillows had stains on them. Sorry but this has been the least nicest Airbnb we have rented thus far. Just very overall disappointed. I wanted to give it 2 stars but gave it 3 bc it was a quiet area and safe and nice flooring and decent furniture. Thankful for those things. Please owners if you read this I’m just being very honest. Please do some improvements and replace the grill and buy some new cook ware, add some new linens, new curtains, and pillows too. That will help a lot!!!

Huge house! Loved the two master suites with own bathroom. Quiet neighborhood, about 15 min drive to the beach, everything close by. Will definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and worked great for putting my workers in a place to stay. The neighborhood was not exactly what I was expecting. The house a crossed the street with the barking dogs (multiple Dogs) was a little much.

About 10-14 mins from the beach, my daughter got married Saturday at Fort Walton Beach this home was conveniently located in the perfect location. Close to Walmart and restaurant. Check-in was smooth and the kitchen was equipped with the basic cooking essentials.

The home was fabulous! Just as Describe into description in the pictures. The home was spacious enough where we didn't feel over crowded or on top of one a other. The kitchen supplied everything we needed to cook (which was a pleasure.) We would definitely rent this home again if we were in the area!

We had a relaxing time in this home. It provided all our needs all while being spacious. The home was as described and we would rent again.
