Cleanliness needs to be addressed. There was dirty towels next to the outdoor hot tub. All utensils, pots and pans were also dirty. The balcony door on first floor doesn’t lock and several outlets in the kitchen didn’t have current.
I stayed in this cabin with family and friends in November 2023. It’s a cozy cabin with large bedrooms and a very spacious upstairs living room that connects to the kitchen. It doesn’t make the chef feel isolated at all, especially when you have loud friends like mine. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils. It even had a cast iron skillet. We used the grill for our family BBQ and it worked great. Unfortunately, that’s not what I can say for the cleanliness of the cabin. The showers were very dirty. I stood in the shower, shivering, on my tippy toes because I could feel the slimy sludge beneath your toes on the shower floor. All showers were equally as dirty. There was also tons of hair on the walls of the shower. Just a heads up, the water pressure in this cabin is terrible. You’ll be showering under droplets of water ?. The lamps in the bedrooms are very dim and the lighting is terrible but it makes for a cozy atmosphere. The heater works great! The living room sofas are amazing and they are recliners. I don’t know if I would sacrifice cleanliness for the amenities again, but it was still a great cabin that someone else might enjoy.
Spent 2 nights at this spot during the Tour de Big Bear. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Would stay here again.
The cabin was great! The cabin has amazing views of the mountains and trees. Everything in the cabin appeared new and everything was super clean. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck to have our morning cofffee and in the evenings to BBQ. The kids had fun using the air hockey table and were glad they could connect their gadgets to the WiFi. We can't wait to book again soon.
