Stayed Feb 11, 2026Perfect location on “home run”, made it easy to get the kids on the slopes for first tracks everyday. Amazing views to wake up to and to wind down the day from the hot tub. The tree house access for the gym, game room, apres ski drinks by the fire, and the pool are special amenities. Easy access to Northstar Village and a short drive to downtown truckee made it easy to enjoy everything North Lake Tahoe has to offer. The house is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked. We'll stay here again for sure.

Stayed Jan 5, 2023Best location on the mountain. Truly amazing. Ski all day, pop off the skis at the back door, heat up some coco, and then hop in the spa. Nice kitchen with good pantry space. They have all the basic dishes and cookware. We did bring our own crockpot for stew and a large pot for homemade soup. Their largest pot could do soup for four, perhaps. Kitchen seating for six comfortably, and comfortably sleeps 10 (we had 8 adults), which means we had to eat in waves. It worked out fine. Beds were great, and we loved the window walls. Bring a Bluetooth speaker though; there wasn't any smart music devices. Nest thermostats downstairs and in beds, which allowed us to adjust temp in zones. One bedroom nest wasn't connecting, but the property manager was super responsive and everyone was comfy. It was a non issue. Very clean, but the place could probably benefit from maintenance of uncommon items (bath grout, throw pillows, etc). Wonderful stay overall. We made great memories here :)

Stayed Mar 13, 2025The house over all is very dirty. There was dirty bedding, walls, couches, pillows, and windows had hand prints all over them. The beds were very hard, you could just sleep on the floor instead, its that bad. The place was dirty and just over all not comfy. They also charged us for smoking in the house which never happened, I don't know how they get away with treating their guests this way DO NOT RENT THIS HOME...Honestly this was the worst experience ever. There is also a shuttle which they never told us about or gave us the number so we could get around easier.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024What a gem - this is truly a ski-in ski-out property. The house was perfect for a family with 4 bunk beds and 3 full bedrooms. Beds were all super comfortable. Lots of fun board games, great kitchen. I look forward to staying again!

Stayed Mar 31, 2023We had an amazing time at Northstar. The house was right off of the Home Run trail which was great for our group. In the morning we would walk out our back door, click in, and head down to Highlands Gondola. We stopped back at the house for lunch and when people got tired they were able to ski home and be done. No waiting for busses, no walking to the car, no driving. The house was fully equipped to handle 10 people (4 adults and 6 kids). We all had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. The jacuzzi on the deck was awesome. The pictures posted on VRBO are an accurate reflection of what the house looks like. If I had any criticism, I would say that the water pressure was not the strongest. My shower left a little to be desired but that was not the end of the world. The beds were great. Everyone commented how well they slept. The garage door opening was tall. I was able to park my SUV without taking my Thule roof rack off. I recommend staying at this place.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house makes the perfect ski trip get away. It's the second time we have stayed in the house and we have had a great time skiing in and out of it with the home run run literally on the backyard. Relaxing very comfortably in the house after skiing just completes the perfect day. The house will always be our first option for our ski trips.
