Lake Cumberland is an adventurer’s dream, with over 1,200 miles of shoreline, fantastic boating and fishing. Come and enjoy the splendor of fall colors, the quiet beauty of winter, the bloom of spring or the excitement of summer! There’s something to enjoy in every season at Lake Cumberland Resort.
Very nice cabin, decorated well, plenty of seating available. Large upstairs loft would be perfect for kids: one king sized bed and two twin sized beds. Loved the gas fireplace! It heated the space quickly, but does make the loft space quite warm. Overall a comfortable cabin to spend our Thanksgiving holiday! We did have two spots of trouble: 1. the overhead light in the living area would not work. We called maintenance, they came with a 3 foot ladder. The gentleman realized it wouldn't work (lofted ceiling), so he left to go find an 8 foot ladder, but we never saw him again. We found some lightbulbs in a closet, pushed some furniture together and changed the bulb ourselves. 2. The hot tub leaks. The level of the water was below the jets. There's a hose on the deck, so we filled it back up, but then had to wait for the tub to rewarm (all night). So check the water before you put your suits on!
Quiet clean and relaxing
4 amazing days to revive a beaten up family. Leasing company had the forethought to call ahead because of a leaking hot tub. They relocated our booking to an upgrade and it was very appreciated. Easily located property with plenty to do in the area. Accommodations we comfortable and above adequate. I would not hesitate to book another time
Traveled with 5 children ages 3months-13 yr. Property was very clean. Hot tub was a hit, it was leaking some but not a huge deal. Not as private as we were hoping, but the gated resort was a nice touch and the community was quiet. Home itself was missing a couple of kitchen essentials that I expect with a rental, such as oil of any kind and sugar. Town was about a 30 minute drive. Couches were pretty uncomfortable, but the beds were great!
This house was in a great location. Of course the perfect part was allowing our pet to stay. Check in was a breeze and the employees were very nice and had all the information needed. The resort was great. It had a nice pool and a restaurant. It even had an awesome band playing that weekend which was very enjoyable. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We could not get the hot tub to heat up fully but unknown if it was not working or we were not doing something correctly. We loved this place and hope to be back soon.
Diana - very disappointed with your rental #1857285. Barbecue was totally burned out, hot tub was broke (reported both to mng on 8/10 and told they were aware of the problem and a part was ordered - should have been told prior to arrival, would provide refund but we just wanted to use the devices), pots and pans are in very poor condition, mattresses are poor, hand & shower soap is practically unusable, kitchen table is greasy/sticky (we tried to wash with soap and water, no luck) and we had to strip beds/linen (isn't that part of the cleaning expense?). Would not recommend.
The midweek was a perfect stay for the three of us. Some minor issues but overall a quiet and comfortable get away that allowed pets.
The cabin had everything we could have needed. It even had a all of the things my daughter needed to bake, which she wanted to do one day for the family. Beautiful scenery, not too close to your neighbors but a nice quiet location perfect for a family getaway near lake Cumberland.
Beautiful cabin tucked away .
Was perfect for our annual family get together
This was a great little cabin in a beautiful setting.
Enjoyed the stay.
We had a great time at Steeling Time! Just as described on VRBO and in photos. We had fun relaxing, playing the yard games and board games, hot tubbing, reading on the porch in the sun and just unwinding. We did a lot of hiking and exploring the area and our cabin was a great home base. There were 3 of us (husband, wife, 18 yr old son) and we had plenty of space to spread out. This cabin could easily accommodate 6. Would recommend! :)
The cabin was really nice and had everything we needed for a fun weekend in the mountains.
The original place in the listing had squirrels in the ceiling. They did upgrade us, but both places definitely needed better pillows and more towels. I would highly recommend taking your own if you are able. This location is also about 30 minutes away from everything, so come prepared.
Christmas decorations were a nice touch. Gas fireplace was a life saver as temps were in the single digits. Kitchen well equipped for eating (utensils, plates, glasses,...). Could do with a few more items used in cooking. Plenty of games. Especially liked Galaga arcade game and darts.
Wonderful experience with rental property. Loved the on-site support. Will definitely stay again.
We were spending the weekend with some friends just to get away before the final couple gets married … everything was perfect
It is a great location, nice property and good people to work with it.
Great property , beautiful place and perfect for our group , been coming to Cumberland for years and first time at this resort , would for sure stay here again !
This house was just as expected and had plenty of room for us all to enjoy being together. We played board games and enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin.
