The location of the Steamboat Lodge could not be better. It is close to VIEW (with lots of free or affordable fun family activities), Calypso Cove, Water Safari, the Pied Piper, the North Street playground, and all of downtown. The small semi private beach was perfect for our 6 small grandchildren. The property must get a lot of use! There are several small items that could be attended to make the place even better (e.g., some of the beds are not very comfortable or sturdy, the cleaning process could be more thorough). Overall, we had a wonderful time.
The house was great with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Deck was great for relaxation. The only downside was the view from the second floor deck. I was disappointed that the view consisted of 6 old boats that no longer worked. It looked like an old abandoned shipyard.
The house was just what we were looking for, with plenty of rooms for our large group to spread out. The nearby beach was a great addition for us to hang out and relax during the day. Just a short walk into town! And Meaghan was very quick with her responses to all of our questions. Highly recommend!
Perfect for our group. Plenty of parking, located right in town and on the water. Easy check in and check out. Garbage just needs to be driven off site to the transfer station which is about 5 minute drive. Would stay again.
Property was clean east to access and really close to town with in walking distance to everything
Everything at the property was accurate with the listing. Great location and plenty of room in the house! I’d recommend this camp to anyone
