Well equipped and clean house just above the quayside on a narrow and quiet street. The town is on the steep sides of the estuary so it’s not surprising there are a lot of steps (21) up to the front door, but it’s awkward with large luggage. The house itself is on 5 levels with 5 or 6 stairs between each floor. Parking scratch cards are provided for use at nearby public car parks which are a few minutes walk away. The washing machine was appreciated but there was nowhere to dry clothes, like a washing line or clothes horse. Shower very slippery with no grab handle. Mattresses on beds unacceptably uncomfortable, even for my 22 year old daughters! This was a fun place to stay and the location can’t be beaten, even in the middle of winter, but I think a better description of the approach to the property and its unusual vertical nature would have been helpful in planning our trip.
