Welcome to Starbase, a tranquil waterfront home situated on a 10-acre lot on the Bay of Quinte.



Meticulously designed by architect Martin Liefhebber (2006), the exterior spaces were reinvented in 2021 by architect Brian O’Brian. A brand new professional pickleball half basketball court was added in 2023. Starbase’s interior was renovated in 2025 with new windows, kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathrooms. This private home is spacious and ideally suited for gathering.



The Space:

Starbase is a licensed STA (STA-2020-0269) that accommodates up to 6 adults and 3 children under the age of 10.



This home has six outdoor areas for your enjoyment:

-rooftop patio perfect for enjoying the sunset or stargazing

-barbecue patio in the back for alfresco cooking

-waterfront deck with dock for swimming, fishing, bird-watching (dock available only from late April to early October)

-dining pavilion with enough room for 10-12

-cozy yet spacious fire pit area

-professional pickleball half-basketball court with two viewing pavilions



Main Floor - kitchen, dining area, living area, laundry room, along with the main bedroom and full bath



The 2nd floor - two bedrooms, each with a full 3-piece ensuite bathroom, a spacious breezeway, and access to the rooftop deck.



Included for your enjoyment:

-kayak, canoe, standup paddleboard (summer months)

-2 adult lifejackets and 2 kids' (4-6 years) life jackets

-assorted beach toys, soccer ball and goals, badminton rackets, ping pong table (in carport), pickleball, and basketball equipments

-Springfree trampoline

-an extensive perennial flower and herb garden for you to use during your stay

-Firewood



Chef’s Kitchen includes:

-Fisher & Paykel induction cooktop, refrigerator with ice maker, convection oven

-Kitchenaid beverage fridge

-Staub and Le Creuset Dutch oven and braisers, Lodge iron pan, Made In stainless clad saucier, stock pot, frying pan

-Technivorm Moccamaster coffee machine and grinder

-Japanese chef knives, kitchen shears, can opener, baking sheets, cutting boards, colander, salad spinner, plates, bowls, platters, tongs, BBQ tools, steak knives, cutlery, chopsticks, meat thermometer, cheese grater, measuring cups and spoons, and children's plates and bowls

-Toaster, microwave, and a small blender

    Everything about my family trip to Starbase was fantastic. The house itself is spacious inside with a modern design for a waterfront property, and it has so many outdoor spaces to enjoy. The location on the water made it great for swimming and other activities too. Definitely a highlight of our summer and would highly recommend!

    We had a great stay on the Bay of Quinte. The house was very comfortable, roomy and clean. The property was large with water access and lots of water activities including canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Overall, we all had a great time!
