Stayed Jul 11, 2025Fabulous place! We absolutely loved sitting out on the porch and watching the horses morning and evening. The travel time to attractions was super easy from this location. If you want to be immersed into Kentucky horse country, this is the place to stay! The house was well equipped and met our every need. We would recommend this stay to others and will hopefully be back again one day.

Stayed May 9, 2025Great property and fantastic cabin. Hosts were responsive. The views were very peaceful and even though all our activities were on campus, it was worth the drive!

Stayed Apr 23, 2025Two couples who travel together found The Shed perfect for our stay to attend the Defender event in April 2025. It’s close to the KY Horse Farm but a bit out of the way (close to the community of Midway). There is a train track off to the side that was occasionally annoying overnight but the trains were short so noise was brief. It was great being next to a field of horses and to watch the variety of birds.

Stayed Apr 9, 2025The Shed House was beautiful & well appointed!! The best part was the view! 2 comfy king bedrooms each with its own bathroom. We were an easy 20 minutes to Keenland or the great downtown restaurants. Our contact with Kim was a 10 out of 10!
