Spring and Summer is Special @ Spacious Water-view House in Iconic Fun Location

This was our second time staying at the Happy Clam and our family once again loved our time there. The host is great and very welcoming, and the house itself is perfect for larger groups like ours. Everything is clean and the house is stocked with everything you’ll need during your trip. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great location.Big enough for multiple families.

We vacationed at this home for five days. I booked it for myself and three family members that are elderly, 70 and above. I would have to say that elderly people not capable of climbing stairs would not rent this property, but it was not a problem at all for us. The top level floor that my sister-in-law stayed in was referred to as the penthouse. It is a beautiful room and she said it was very comfortable. The floor below it was the main living area that had a big kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. All the bedrooms in the house were comfortable and had their own bathrooms. The bottom floor bedroom/apartment is where my sister stayed and she has some slight mobility challenges so it was perfect for her. It had a full bathroom bedroom, kitchen and small living room, perfect for her situation or someone that wants a little more privacy. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and walking distance to the end of the road along the jetty. We enjoyed walking thereand then enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and talking to people who were fishing along the banks.

Absolute, wonderful place to stay. Close to crabbing, seal and bird watching from the house, crabbing and clamming equipment. It was everything our group needed. We all agreed we would stay at the Happy Clam again!

Great location

Great property for a group! We had an amazing week. Aged from 2 to 79. Beautiful views and weather. The kitchen was well appointed, and we enjoyed cooking some amazing meals here. We’re all foodies. The guys went fishing and we enjoyed a crab feast and all took home fish. Gary was a great host, but honestly, the house was so guest ready, we didn’t have any questions!! Five stars! I will look forward to staying again. Extra guests stayed at a local RV park and hotel… so convenient! Thank you Gary and Kathy!!

We celebrated my husbands 80th birthday at the house. It was so great to have a place all 10 of us could comfortably fit. The views are magnificent and the location is perfect. We had a great time. My husband said it was the best birthday he ever had.

The host was very kind and communicative and the house was absolutely lovely!

We celebrated my Dads 82nd birthday. The lower apartment was perfect for my Dad to stay in and allowed him to be able to come upstairs and join the rest of the big crazy family and then go to bed early. Loved that there was a bathroom for every bedroom and a ton of space! The windows were massive and we enjoyed watching the boats and sea lions in the bay. It was very clean and had everything we needed.

We had eight people stay all over 60 we had a wonderful time. The kitchen has a nice supply of pots and pans for cooking large table to eat at and play games at walking distance to the pier overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved our stay. Everything we needed for 3 nights was here. Plenty indoors to keep the kids occupied while it rained. We’ll be back!

This is the perfect place for an extended family gathering. We had multiple generations from age 9 to 86 and everyone had such a wonderful time. Great location, convenient for walking to the beach or aquarium. Very well equipped kitchen is perfect for staying in. Fun game room in the garage with pool and ping pong tables. Lots of light and incredible view of the river and bridge. Huge primary suite. Very welcoming and communicative host. Would highly recommend.

Perfect size for family trip and close proximity to boat launch. Great stay.

This was a perfect place for our large group for an extended stay. It was on 3 levels which allowed us to spread out and be alone or meet up on the main level (The Middle one) if we wanted to visit, play games etc....... Quiet neighborhood and the host was great to communicate with. Lots of parking a BIG Bonus for a large group and within walking distance to a lot of fun things to do in Newport. we had a great time and would recommend to anyone.

The house was everything it claims to be plenty of room for large families and more. Tha Owners are amazing and helpful. The home had plenty of things to do games, pool table, ping pong, crab pots and close to much more. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is close to everything: beach and water and shopping and food It is well-equipped and one night we stayed in to play foos ball and pool Gary defined all check-in and check-out procedures well We enjoyed our time in Newport. Thanks Gary
