Stayed Sep 6, 2025This was our first visit to Maine. Belfast is a charming town, excellent food and super nice people. This property was beyond perfect for our family. Honestly, you can sit outside and just enjoy the scenery. It was beautiful. There is a ton of room to move around, plenty of places to sit and the kitchen is large. I loved the open floor plan. Don’t hesitate, book it!

Stayed Sep 5, 2024We were in town for a family wedding and it was great to rent a house with my own family and my husband's brother and his family. The size really allowed us to be together when we wanted to and separate when we wanted alone time. The convenience to downtown Belfast was great - a simple 5 minute drive. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and everyone else said that they slept well. The neighborhood is very quiet and the views from all rooms can't be beat! Two small complaints - dealing with the recycling and having to get some towels washed. If we are paying a cleaning fee then we shouldn't have to do any laundry. The recycling centers were right in Belfast but the first one we couldn't even find which was frustrating. Just something I haven't experienced before with a rental. Despite those complaints I would definitely rent this place again!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024This house met all of our needs. The location on the river which could be viewed from every room was very nice. We were a party of six and we had room to spread out and enjoy quiet time because of the many sitting areas. I highly recommend the house and hope to come again.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024Great stay, would recommend. Some details: Our group was three grandparents in their 80s, 2 parents and 3 teens. All bedrooms on second or third floor. We had plenty of space to spread out. The House Manual provided was informative. We stayed during the July 2024 heat wave, and the A/C was helpful. Driveway limited to six cars, two wide, which sometimes provided challenges, as we have local friends and family in for visits during the day. Kitchen was great except the knives will cut nothing, making food prep a challenge and we felt the need to buy a $20 teapot at Goodwill as the house seems to cater to coffee drinkers. Kayaking upriver with the three provided little kayaks was a treat. Belfast is accessible best by bike (across the footbridge), by car okay, but it's a bit far for an easy walk. We did lots of biking courtesy of Bike Coalition of Maine routes.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024Gale’s property was even better than described! Big enough for our large group (6) to spread out, with 2 living rooms and bedrooms on 3 different floors. The view was stunning and we enjoyed the outdoor table overlooking the water. The kitchen was well-stocked, and water pressure was surprisingly good. The AC worked well and was appreciated, as it was in the 90’s one day. Easy driving distance to both Acadia/Bar Harbor to the north and Camden/Rickland to the south. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 24, 2023Lovely house. Spectacular view. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax in all of the different spaces. We enjoyed the kayaks and the canoe...AND the ping pong! So glad they were there to use. We would love to come and stay again.
