Spectacular Mountain Views- Newly Renovated!!

Home features worked well for family stay. Easy & scenic drive to desert parks and desert museum. Resturants & downtown about twenty minutes drive. Short drive to Marriot resort for coffee & restaurant. Very private location; desert in back and nice mountain view. Host was helpful with recommendations?

A bit dated and could use some renovation but comfortable enough.

Comfortable bed, great shower, great location, communication with host was good. The area was quiet. The TV reception was good. We felt relaxed in the spacious casita.

I have stayed at Starr Pass Suites in 2024 and 2025. The resort is perfect for me when I visit family in Tucson. I like the extra room of the 2 bedroom unit. I hiked in Tucson Mountain Park - fantastic. I rented a bike and was able to ride 4 days. Desert Museum is nearby and worth the trip. Dave, the owner, is wonderful to work with if you have any issues. The pool, gym and tennis court on the Starr Suites property is not accessible to guests of the property being reviewed. Employees of the Marriott told us that Marriott no longer owns the pool at Starr Suites. Regardless of ownership be aware that the Star Pass Suites pool is not available to guests of this unit. The kitchen was well stocked. We mopped the floor during our stay. The beds were comfortable and internet worked great. For lap swimming the City / County operated Fred Archer Pool and gym are a couple of mile drive and no cost. Tub in Master BR was not in working order during our stay.

What a delightful surprise the location of this comfortable casita turned out to be! We were met by a constant stream of wildlife, just off the patio. Javelinas, Mule deer, rabbits and coyotes wandered by. Hummingbirds, Cardinals and Orioles made a daily appearance. Starr Pass is well sited for easy access to all the amenities of Tucson, to the nearby Marriott and to the highways that lead to many other southern Arizona adventures. Many hiking trails are within walking/short driving distance. The casita was newly refreshed at our visit and very comfortable. Our host was easy to contact when we had any questions. The six weeks we spent there flew by and we were sad to say goodby.

Not sure why you’re asking again. I already said it was fabulous. I love the wood floors and recommend a place. Don’t want over it cause then somebody might take my favorite week.

Newly repainted, newly installed flooring and new living area furniture make this a comfortable place. This is an older unit, so expectations of the latest home design will not be met. However, there is plenty of space in both bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen, even if it is not the most up-to-date design. We all enjoyed this unit and we would readily stay here again.

A little down at the heel but nevertheless comfortable and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the flagstone patio where we saw a large variety of birds and animals. The location was convenient and we enjoyed the pool and a meal at the resort. A successful stay!

Clean and had everything needed was provided. A bit dated and TV's on the small side. WiFi only available in the club house. I would check to see if that has changed in the future.

We just loved the casita. Great location and fabulous wildlife/bird watching from our patio. Private and quiet. We stayed 2 months and enjoyed every day. We had 4 groups of family come for a week apiece. They all enjoyed it. Thanks to Dave - we would like to come again.
