Spectacular Cannon Beach View Home - Life's a Beach

Easily the best view from any property I've ever stayed at Cannon Beach. Easy walk to everything. Instructions were clear and communication with host was on point. My family loved this place and was sad to go home. Host didn't even really get too upset with me when I left the key inside the house instead of the lockbox when I left. Would love to stay here again in the future. Well worth the price.

The photos do not do the house justice! It is a beautiful cozy home and we had a wonderful stay. The house has a different TV than the pictures which was a pleasant surprise. They also have a fantastic desk in one of the rooms to telework from with fast internet. I brought my own keyboard and mouse to use. All the rooms are downstairs for those with mobility issues. There is a bathroom with a shower on the main floor and the shower head has an extension hose for those with mobility problems. The kitchen was gorgeous and well stocked! The couch was super comfy. The beds we used had a foam topper. The host communicated quickly and was upfront about a few issues the house had. For instance, the radiant heat did not work at the time we stayed, but the afternoon sun and fire place kept the house warm. The rooms had their own heaters also, so there was no issue in keeping warm. They also mentioned ahead of time icemaker might not be working, but they provided ice cube trays, so that was not an issue either. I really liked how upfront they were, which meant no surprises. It worked out perfect and we were well taken care of.This was a wonderful home and I can’t wait to stay again!

This property is awesome. As fans of the movie The Goonies, we were first drawn to this property because of its proximity to the rock made iconic by that movie. The views were breathtaking. The house is well-designed, with 4 bedrooms and an equal number of bathrooms. The host was very communicative, but not intrusive.

This is our new favorite VRBO! The view is breathtaking! The kitchen was fully stocked to make your own meals. The living rooms was beautiful and comfortable. My favorite place was the nook off the living room to sit and read and watch the sunset. The rooms were spacious and perfect for our family of four. We all had plenty of room and our own bathrooms. Lovely place and we hope to come back again!

The house has an open floor plan that allows multiple guests to be together, a great game night set up! The kitchen and washrooms are very well stocked with supplies. The description mentions that the bedrooms are all located on the lower floor, to note their is up to 12 stairs to navigate each time up and down, less ideal for elderly guests or those with very small children. The parking is ample with two cars, one in the garage and one behind the garage. Street parking was also available each day. The home is a warm and enviting environment with all the amenities provided. We recommend this property!

Such an amazing place to stay. Very clean, amenities were updated and really nice, and there are a couple lovely fireplaces. The host was easy to contact. And of course- the location and view are incredible.

This house is absolutely perfect - all of the amenities of a luxury home and a luxury hotel. The hosts have thought of everything! Plenty of space, perfectly stocked for any need, location is spectacular and is just steps from the beach and within walking distance to town and all that Cannon Beach has to offer. Amazing views and perfect sized for our group of three couples. The bedrooms downstairs are separated and have good privacy. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is better equipped than my own home! We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the rockers on the patio. We found the beach access easy and close, and could walk the mile into town if we wanted. The tide pools at low tide were also fun to see.

Stunning place! Perfect location, perfect house. Yes, the view is that good! The real surprise was the views from the bedrooms. This beach is full of special memories for our family, we felt so lucky to be staying in a place as special.

We were blown away by the magnificent views this property boasts. It is a large home, with four bathrooms and four comfortable bedrooms. We were eight people in a family, including four children and grandparents. Everyone loved this property, and we have stayed in several other homes along the beach here. There's a convenient path down to the beach that we frequented. The home was clean. I appreciated that there were plenty of bath towels available for our use. Go looking in the cupboards and you'll find everything you could possibly need, including kid dishwear and games. The check-out process asked very little of us. The only way I wouldn't recommend this wonderful place is if you have folks in your party with mobility issues. The bedrooms are all downstairs. Otherwise, it's a very special place to enjoy magical Cannon Beach.

Great property for a family reunion! Everything about this house is as described - or better! The owner is very easy to work with and responsive to our questions and comments. And as described, it has one of the best views in Cannon Beach, especially of Haystack Rock.

We love this house!!

This place is the perfect beach getaway. It is just one row of houses up from the beach, with super easy access out the back door, about 200 feet down a drive and then a set of stairs landing you right at the beach at Haystack. The views are spectacular (I recommend they get a couple of lounging chairs to face the ocean so you can just sit there and watch). There are FOUR bedrooms, and we just used two. The beds are a bit hard, but comfortable enough. There are stairs, so be aware if that is an issue, but the house was clean (except some dishes that seem to need a little extra rinse). This is an exceptional house, and I highly recommend it!

Accommodations were excellent. The view is spectacular!!! Good path to beach. Just wonderful! Highly recommend!!

We had no plans and the Lord led us straight to this amazing property. Lee was awesome and the views were amazing. We had such an awesome time. Watched eagles fly back and forth from haystack rock. Walked out to haystack rock and saw some really big starfish. Found sand dollars. So very grateful and blessed.

This place is the real deal. Incredible views, fantastic kitchen, cozy fireplace, and cloud like beds! We were very sad to leave and can’t wait to book it again!

Overall it was an amazing stay! Great location, incredible view, well stocked house and very clean / comfortable. The only issues we had were a couple maintenance things - the upstairs toilet flush chain broke, and the bathtub drain wouldn’t close to enable it to fill. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Incredible views from the main room. A great place for 6-8 people to stay.

This property is amazing. This house is three 'levels' up from the beach, but the beach was very accessible through a path between the houses. Saying that, we spent little time at the beach as the views from the house were incredible and sitting on the deck gave you the sounds and views of the ocean without all the wind (plus access to a bathroom and more wine!). The pictures don't due the view justice, the minute you walk through the front door, you are in awe! Having 4 bathrooms (each with a shower) was a huge bonus. Unsure why the description notes 2.5 baths?? It was nice being away from the main part of town but still within walking distance (1 mile). Overall a well laid out house, worked perfect for 4 sisters and our mom. We'd stay there again in a heart beat. A few notes that might impact others, like a lot of beach houses, there is no main floor bedroom but there is a bathroom. Parking is a bit limited for larger vehicles. We fit a car in the garage and the truck sideways in front of the garage. No problem for multiple smaller vehicles. The deck is decent size and worked well for us 5, but would be tight for a group of 9.

We had a wonderful stay at Life’s A Beach for our Cannon Beach family vacation. My family has been gathering at Cannon Beach for over 30 years. The location and layout of the home was wonderful, and everyone loved being able to see what was going on at the beach from the main rooms. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this beautiful property with our entire family including two grandkids under 4 years old. The property is perfect for families. Lots of different rooms for sleeping arrangements and tons of bathrooms! Very close to town yet not so close that there is a lot of congestion with people and cars.

The Sunset from the 2 rocking chairs on the deck was amazing! My 90 year old mom could see people looking at the tidal pools from the living room since she couldn’t walk to the beach with us! The beach access was so fast and easy we loved everything about the house even parking was great! We
