Come and put your feet up on our outdoor couch while you finish your morning coffee and fresh doughnuts from Mueller’s Bakery, then grab a paddle board and enjoy a morning out on the lake -- don’t miss the Osprey nest or graceful herons standing nearby in the reeds. Located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, this sparkling Cape provides a tranquil setting and is just 3 short blocks from the bustle of town or a short walk to our recently replenished beaches. Jenkins Boardwalk is a short drive, better yet, a 5 minutes bike ride, a quick get-away to enjoy the evening fun.

This fully stocked home has plenty of space, indoors and out, for the perfect family beach getaway. After spending the day relaxing at one of the many beautiful Bay Head beaches, drop the bikes, included with the house, off in our spacious enclosed backyard, cool off in the outdoor shower and get ready for a competitive match of ping pong. We have many other yard games, including corn hole and croquet. Or just relax in a double wide hammock. Built for outdoor living, you can enjoy a festive family and friends’ dinner under our covered patio with a dining table that seats 8-10, a ceiling fan to keep cool with a Weber gas grill in top shape, your first full tank of propane is included.

Step inside, the first floor of this home includes an open floor plan with a fully renovated kitchen, Viking stove, Bosh DW, Frigidaire French-door refrigerator and wine refrigerator. This is a cook’s kitchen with plenty of glassware, every small kitchen appliance imaginable, including Nespresso, ice cream maker, blender, etc. Comes with utensils/plating service for 12+, the pantry has spices, oils and the basics and our reclaimed farm table seats 10. Après-dinner, there is plenty of room for everyone to sprawl out in our Sunroom on our long double couches with a Smart TV (comes w our Netflix acct, Apple TV), Xbox, DVD, lots of movies, puzzles and games. Or slip away to the living room for a little quiet time, which also comes with a Smart TV of its own. Our house is wired for cable and wireless internet access. The laundry room comes with a new washer/dryer set, to your clothing clean and fresh.

Time to call it a night. The first floor has a guest room with a Queen bed and attached updated bathroom. Upstairs, there is the oversized master bedroom with a Queen bed and its own sleeper sofa and attached outdoor lounging deck. The 3rd bedroom has two extra-long twin beds that can be made into a queen plus two additional twin trundle beds against the opposite wall. Can sleep 4 comfortably, there are blow up beds just in case an extra guest stays over. Each bedroom comes with its’ own air conditioner and ceiling fans for those cooler nights that the AC isn’t needed.

There is plenty of parking on the street, or if preferred for two cars on our driveway inside the back-yard gate. 4 beach badges are included, tons of beach towel, two kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 2 beginner surfboards and multiple bicycles. Bring nothing but the need to be replenished by being by the Jersey shore.

We are renting 2024, starting June 4 through June 30th and then August 10, through end of Labor Day. Bay Head only allows weekly rentals. All rates include utilities. Weekly cleaning ($150) is required and is not included. Damage insurance is required and available through HomeAway.
