We really enjoyed our stay. Such a cute place with a wonderful patio. Everything we did was within walking distance which was great given the traffic this time of year. The only downside is the traffic noise when on the patio. The property is at a very busy intersection. The kitchen in the bedroom is a bit unusual but we didn’t use it so it wasn’t an issue.

Very nice space next to the main house. Hosts in the main house, available and friendly. La Jolla was beautiful and we had great weather. Stores and tasty restaurants nearby. One caveat: the home is on a very busy street. Road noise was loud at times. Only a hotplate for cooking, grill on the deck. We enjoyed our stay!!

Excellent location, walkable to all downtown has to offer. Hosts were great with communication and had many recommendations for restaurants and cafes. Noise from the street is a bit loud but they provide a sound machine in the bedroom so no problems sleeping.

This is a cozy place in La Jolla. We were able to walk everywhere, which was great. The place was clean and the hosts were very responsive throughout the process. We loved the outdoor patio area. We also appreciated the fans provided, since we knew there was no air conditioning. We kept the windows open and the fans running, which also provided great white noise since the place is on a busy intersection. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks to Eric and Yvonne for being excellent hosts. They even allowed us to check in quite early on Friday, which was much appreciated.

Check-in was quick. Quick response to all messages I sent thru the VRBO app. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom has shower and tub. Patio is so comfy to read or play on your phone, especially at sunset. Sleeping in the living room (closest to the busy intersection) was a little louder than I expected because it was warm and we kept the windows open, but we couldn’t hear the traffic at all from the bedroom. I’m still leaving 5 stars because the description is very thorough and we had no surprises. Just make sure to read the full details and you’ll love it here! Very walkable area and homeowners were kind and super responsive! Would stay here again!

Wonderful 4-night stay. Comfortable, well-equipped, clean, cozy but spacious, easy walk to groceries and cafes in the heart of La Jolla village. Off street parking is a huge advantage, although you need a bit of practice to get in and out of the driveway on a busy corner. Great local info and directions from our hosts. Loved the elevated and covered patio for morning coffee. There is street noise, but never enough to bother us even when we kept the windows open all the time for those beautiful cool ocean breezes. Will plan to stay there again on any other visit to the area!

The uniti s the upstairs of the owner's property but it wasn't a problem. The location is ideal and easy walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants. Lovely outdoor space. Comfy bed and sofa bed but awkward setup for kitchenette and bathroom is tight. Overall a good stay for the price and location.

Spanish casita is lovely, clean and well located in La Jolla. The owners/managers are wonderful and respond immediately to texts. Please be aware that this unit does not have air conditioning and in hot and humid August that would be nice. Although plenty of fans are available, keeping the windows open made the unit quite noisy due to the heavy traffic on nearby Torrey Pines Rd.

We absolutely loved your cottage. The location was perfect, everything was clean and organized. The PATIO. Wow! We were there for my son’s wedding and the patio was fantastic when we had multiple people stopping by to say hello. My friend and I assembled the rehearsal dinner flowers out there and loved being outside. All agreed that our place was the “score” of the weekend compared to what they rented. We will be back!

Terrific property- cozy and comfortable. It is decorated nicely and had many delightful touches- including nice linens. We didn’t use the outdoor patio as much as I thought we would- but it’s very inviting. It was great to have dedicated parking. There’s a bit of street noise which was more noticeable in the family room, but to be fair, we also kept the door open to enjoy the cross-breeze. The bedroom had a nice sound machine which did a great job of obscuring the traffic noise. The only slight downside for us, was that in the VRBO listing, the map made it look like the property was closer to the wedding and other events we were traveling to attend. The distance was more like 15 minute walk vs. what we assumed would be crossing a couple streets (had to rethink the heels!). Our friends were in another VRBO and their property had a similar disparity in where the property actually was vs. the map in listing. I think it’s VRBO’s way of protecting the owners privacy. So for my next rental, I’ll definitely know to communicate with the host about the specifics, ahead of booking. Other than the events in heels, the walking distance to restaurants & shops etc. was VERY convenient. I was traveling with my husband, but it did strike me as a place I’d feel especially safe had I been a woman traveling alone. The price is pretty amazing given all it offers- especially for La Jolla! The hosts were VERY responsive with all communications. We’d definitely recommend!

Can walk to everything in La Jolla. We rented a car which allowed us to go to San Diego, Torrey Pines, and Mission Beach. We had a great time and would stay again at this property!

Stayed here with my daughter as a home base while my extended family had a reunion at another property in La Jolla. It was a nice, central spot to come home to after spending the days out and about. I didn't meet the owners but they were kind to my family as they hung on the deck one day, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. No extensive or out of the ordinary requests at check-out. Location was an easy walk down to the cove to see the seals and to shops/restaurants, however if you have elderly folks or those with trouble walking a lot, would suggest driving or hitching a short uber back up to the house as it is quite a big hill. This is probably not the place to stay for an easy walk to a family beach, but was very lovely for us. A lot is made in the description about the traffic noise, but owner has done a lot to mitigate this with fans and noise machines, and it wasn't a problem for me. No screens on the windows, perhaps this is a coastal thing, but it did surprise me. In all, this place was very true to its description and I'd gladly stay there again.
