We were a family of 7 and stayed in Jim’s place for 6 weeks. It’s a beautiful home with a wonderful backyard and accommodated all of us comfortably. Jim was a very responsive host who made sure the stay was worry-free. Overall, I highly recommend this place for families and for longer stays.

My family and I stayed here for 5 weeks while I was working in Toronto. When we arrived we were quarantined for 2 weeks, and the house provided ample space and a huge backyard. My almost two year old loved the swing set and large deck space as well as green grass he could play soccer in. Completely fenced in and lots of privacy. The bottom floor of the house also had toys and an extra refrigerator and we could watch Disney+ on the big flat screen. The main floor of the house had a huge open floor plan. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed and we could cook and BBQ on the deck. Plenty of indoor and outdoor eating spaces. The washer and dryer and laundry room was perfect as well. The upstairs had four bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were able to utilize one as my office and it came with a desk and chair. The master bedroom is very large and also had a flat screen TV. We really enjoyed our time here as a family. Once we were out of quarantine, we were just a very short drive to the beaches neighborhood, which is very walkable and has a large park for my son. Great coffee shops and ice cream parlors. We went often. The house is also walkable to a very large park overlooking the lake. The house doesn’t have a view really, as it’s behind a row of houses that line the lake, but occasional glimpses and a short walk provides better views. We definitely recommend the home.I would confirm if the hot tub was fully working. It didn’t heat up on its own, so we filled it with hot water a couple of times. And the upstairs jacuzzi tub worked except for the shower nozzle. The dishwasher is finicky, but ultimately worked the whole time. Definitely just pandemic nuisances that will probably resolve when handymen can enter homes comfortably again.

We spent 14 days there and look forward to returning. The home is spacious and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, huge dining area, plenty of bedrooms and a beautiful deck and backyard. The downstairs den with full restaurant-type bar and huge sectional sofa and large flat screen TV is a great indoor space for evenings and gatherings with friends. The owner and his wife couldn’t have been more welcoming and delightful to deal with. We had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommended!!!

Jim came to our rescue on the eve of our travel when a property we had booked in November was canceled. Within minutes of booking Fallingbrook, we had a contract delivered and signed. The house is spacious and we loved the huge island in the kitchen, as well as the large adjacent dining room, with tables to seat 14. We felt comfortable and welcomed.

My family (me, husband, 2 kids, dog) stayed here during a trip to Toronto. The house was clean, so avoid, and met all our needs. The fenced in back yard was Pete the first our dog, and we enjoyed the hot tub even while it was snowing! The house is very near to walking trails along the water, of which we took advantage. If dining in, it’s easy to cook it get take out. The short drive into the city for attractions (20-25 minutes) was no problem and worth it to have the space of the house and yard. The owner was quick to respond when needed. We recommend the house and would stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed our week long stay at this property in November 2019. We were in Toronto for my son's wedding and not a holiday so my comments speak to the practical aspects of the home, though I am sure if visiting in the summer months it would only be that much better. The owners were extremely responsive in all respects and I likely had more questions than the average renter. The backyard looks like it would be a little wonderland in the summer time and it felt like a little retreat into nature back there! The home is comfortable and well-loved. We had all the space we needed for visiting family. We had some issues with one of the kitchen sinks and using the dishwasher but with the help of the owner found a way to manage. I would imagine this would be sorted out for future renters. This is a great home for large families or groups.

The home was clean, well stocked & perfect for our needs attending a family wedding. Jim was super accommodating and very responsive. Only disappointment was despite a few tries and further instructions from Jim we could not get the hot tub to heat up.

We had a wonderful time at the property, and enjoyed having the hot tub as an added bonus! There is plenty of space for people to sit at the dining room table. The kitchen is nicely updated, although a conversion chart on Celsius to Fahrenheit would be nice for the oven. Also, a quick start guide for the oven would be nice (you have to turn on the timer for the oven to begin heating). Otherwise, we greatly enjoyed our stay, and communication with Jim was easy and quick.
