My brother and his wife and a couple of his friends came from Maine for the salmon run my wife and I and a couple of my buddies drove up from Indiana to meet them for some fishing and all around quality hang out time the place was great and comfortable for all of us it was a great week of fishing and a all around good time.
Very nice
This property is great fir 6 to 10 people. It is maintained reasonably well. There is plenty of space indoors and outdoors to enjoy yourself. Probably the only negative is that most everything is fifteen to twenty minutes away from the property.
Very much enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again. It was clean and had a nice variety of things to do in the house. We didn’t have a chance to use it, but there’s a lovely patio with fire pit out back too. Two thumbs up. Highly recommend. :)
Nice location for hunting and fishing. Nice large kitchen. Not enough furniture. Master Bathroom has no door. Pool table is fake. Basement is freezing cold.
9 of us enjoyed our ski weekend, this place will be really incredible when it’s done.
Very easy to rent . Great customer service
It needs updating
Pros: The home was nicely renovated and had a modern, updated look throughout. There were plentiful towels in the bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked with plates/utensils/etc. Some bathroom toiletries were nicely provided. It was very quiet in the area and was close enough to the things we wanted to do without being in a town. The window AC units along with the amount of trees around kept the place a comfortable temperature. I rented this for just me and my husband, but this would be a great deal if you had a larger group and split the cost. The living room does only have seating for 3 though. Cons: The listings says there is a king bed and this was one big reason we booked this property. There were no king beds, the biggest was a queen. It was difficult to find the house in the dark because Google Maps takes you to the street behind the property and at the moment there is no sign to mark it. It is off the highway for future renters. When we arrived, there was a note from the previous renter on the counter and the lockbox was left with the code already input, so I am unsure if there was cleaning in between. And finally (very minor) there weren't really instructions on how to use the Dish Network part of the TV and we couldn't figure it out. Overall, we would stay again and we had a good time.
Lawn was not mowed, steps leading into the house was rotted and falling apart. Was afraid to sit on the couch, as one of the legs were barely hanging on. Location was in between Cadillac and Manistee, which was nice.
