Spacious Waterfront Beach House with Private Pier and Boat Dock – Chele’s Baysid

The house is so comfortable and well-decorated, and the sunsets from the dock were incredible. We enjoyed the porch and being able to use the kayaks out on the sound. The management was super responsive and wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

This property is perfect for families with littles. The beach area behind the house was great for relaxing and the dock perfect for fishing.

We traveled from Ohio as a family. Half of us stayed here and the others stayed at another property a few houses away. The location was perfect! The house was the perfect size. We didn’t feel cramped at all. We spent a lot of time on the private dock for the morning coffee and sunrise to the evening cocktail and sunset. The small beach was perfect. The water is very shallow a long way out.The kitchen was pretty well stocked except I was surprised that there weren’t any spices in the cabinets from previous guests. Most all of the properties I have stayed in had some. The house could use a bit of a deep clean, but overall it was ok. There were plenty of towels and starter packs of soap for the laundry and dishes. The back deck was a good size and the gas grill was nice. The furniture was comfortable. The beds were comfortable with TV’s in each room. I would definitely recommend this property for families. Check in and check out were a breeze. Check out here was actually a lot easier than other properties I have stayed in. Start a load of towels and a load of dishes, and make sure garbage gets taken out. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Chele’s Bayside Place was just as described in the listing. We had plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children, two of which were one year olds. It was great to be on the bay side of the island as the ocean side had red flags on days we were there. In the bay, we were able to swim, fish, throw out some crab traps, and play in the sand. We enjoyed the swing and porch swing below the deck. When we had trouble with the main door lock Dauphin Island Vacation Rental maintenance was there to help. They were very efficient and quick. Having a washer and dryer was amazing, no dirty laundry to take home! I gave a 4 out of 5 star on cleanliness, as I had to sweep the floors the first day. We felt sand on our feet when we entered the house. With a crawling baby I didn’t want her to be covered in sand and who knows what else.

I live near the beach and this was, by far, one of my TOP FIVE beach stays (I'd actually say 2nd best to Key West) of all time! This house is perfect size. We had 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids) in the house all week (sleeping) with several other adults in and out over our stay and we had plenty of room for everyone! The beds were VERY comfortable (which is rare in a rental), the kitchen was stocked and roomy, there were plenty of towels, plenty of parking, loved the boat dock (we live within an hours drive so we brought our boat for the out of state family). The breezes were amazing, front and back. There are only 4 houses on this row, this is house #2 and our family was the only one's there all week and we had the entire private beach area to ourselves the whole time. There are tv's in every room, plenty of extra blankets/pillows and the house is pet friendly (so I didn't have to board my 2 dogs). Its a very short walk across the street to the Gulf side, but honestly, we loved just beaching on the bay side. Plenty of places to wash sand off before entering the house. I tell you, it was ALL perfect. I've never stayed in a place that I would rent again but this one, 100% a future rental. DIBR (April) was so easy to work with. They were very helpful with reminder texts about trash, etc. Everything was sooooo easy and all of the guests there LOVED the house and location. We WILL be back!

Very nice property. Had a couple bumps at first but everything was taken care of immediately. Tons of towels and extra trash bags and toilet paper which was a surprise and much appreciated. Will return to Chele's Baysid.

The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. For my aging parents, the stairs were easy to navigate. They enjoyed the covered back porch while we enjoyed the fishing off the dock. We had great fishing before Francine went through. The hurricane must have disrupted the fishing after that. Overall we had a wonderful time!

The Bayside is very shallow and perfect for kids to play in. Watch out for stingrays but other than that it's perfect.

The house was excellent. Plenty of room and right on the water. Hope to get this house again next year!

It was a great time. Everything in house worked as it should. It was clean and well stocked with appropriate equipment in kitchen. Back porch was a big plus. The dock was a nice addition, we fished nearly every single night off dock and caught several fish to include a shark. Just catch and Release for us. Good time!! Will be back to Dauphin Island. ?
