Sunset Island is Ocean City's premier gated community, boasting luxurious amenities in an ideal location that's central to all this resort town has to offer. This private, 37-acre island includes every amenity, such as stunning bay views, walking trails, indoor and outdoor pools, an interactive fountain, a fishing/crabbing pier, a clubhouse, three private bay beaches, The Landing Restaurant, a market, boat docks, and a convenient midtown location at 67th Street.

Things to Know
A building registration fee includes six facility passes and three parking passes. Additional facility passes are $75 per pass, per person per week. Children three and under do not require a facility pass. The fees are the following: Winter (January 1 - April 30 and October 1 – December 31) = $100. Spring (May 1- May 23) = $150. Summer (Sunday BEFORE Memorial Day, May 24 to Saturday AFTER Labor Day, September 12) = $200
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    We were a little disappointed that the garage door was broken. It had to be broken prior to our arrival. The property itself is in the perfect location for our group We are planning to rebook for next year.

    We had a nice stay here - spacious accommodations that included everything we needed. We stayed in the offseason (December), so the one minor critique is that we weren't told the hot-water heater was unplugged. Once we got that figured out and addressed, everything was perfect.

    The location of the townhouse, on the canal in the front, was very nice. You could see the bay from the front balcony. The house was very cozy and fit all of our needs perfectly. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again. Not a fall walk from the entrance and the beach.

    This house had everything our group needed. It was larger than expected, very clean and walking distance to so many places. Would definitely rent again!

    This is our second year at Sunset Island. Rented 2 houses for the entire family. Great area for all ages. Houses are clean big and accommodating for parking, eating and hanging out.
