Tahoe City, California
Perfect for a large family gathering, this home .offers a fully equipped kitchen, many gathering rooms, 4 BRs with King Beds (one has an additional Queen bed in a separate alcove, another has an additional Twin bed), and additional sleeping areas for children and teens (Twin bunks in the game room, and a Queen bed in the loft.
The family/TV room and the main living room both have gas fireplaces, each bedroom has an adjacent or en-suite bath. One BR has a wood stove and a short hallway to a 2nd sleeping area with Queen bed. Since there is no door, we do not count it as a 5th BR, but the two sleeping areas are separated by a 3/4 bath, which they share. There is a large office space over the 2-car garage, a small sun room with a small deck facing South, and an extensive deck/barbecue area. The deck is not cleared once we get a heavy winter storm, but the grill is still accessible and functional, as is the hot tub, which can be reached by a slider from the MBR shower, which is also used to rinse off before entering the hot tub.

15 people - mostly positive experience. Would've elaborated and added some positives but ran out of characters. YOU SHOULD KNOW -40 + stairs from parking to main level -Garage door broken/janky -Garbage all over deck -used disgusting, greasy pan & open barbecue when we arrived -Hot tub cover not fully on -torn corn hole bags & contents strewn about deck -Garbage was outside in a bin and bottle caps all over the deck -All 5 propane tanks were empty so we were unable to have a barbecue when we wanted. -Sheets had been changed, but garbage was left on the floor in the room. -It was hot w/ no A/C and couldn't open bedroom window b/c the screen was missing. Light in my bedroom was very dark and filled, with dead moths/flies. -My shower wasn't great and didn't have toiletries as expected -Only 2 roles of paper towels and 2 towels provided for 15 person party -Ran out of garbage bags on the last day. -Many lightbulbs out in the house. -Sauna does not work -THE HOT WATER RAN OUT AFTER 2 PEOPLE SHOWERED! -bunkbed in the garage had no comforters. Used a bunch of sheets for warmth. -Ping pong net broken/no ball -no info to find HOA key Had to call a couple times to get the host, but they were responsive. They seemed frustrated with me for wanting things to be clean and functional. They were reluctant to send a property manager but eventually refilled the gas. I felt that with lack of attention to detail and all issues we had, it was not worth our money and wouldn't stay again.
Overall we had a wonderful time. The deck and property behind it is fantastic. My grandsons brought there trucks and tractors they were in heaven. The deck is fantastic. The one thing I will warn about is how many stairs there are. If you have old knees it could be a challenge. Carrying the food ice chest was not easy. Bev and Tuck both responded when I had a questions. The one thing was the deck was covered in pollen and I thought the cleaning staff should of hosed it off before we got there. I ended up doing it myself. I know pollen has been a problem this year. Overall we had a great time and it is in a wonderful location.
