More beautiful than we expected. - amazing suites. Tiny kitchen is the only knock.
We came up with a full group of 18 people and this place was more than enough to accomodate everyone and all of their ski gear. The pictures do not do the place full justice. The patio and balcony have an incredible view of Big Sky. The hot tub, although a little small, was beautiful and a great way to relax after the days of skiing. Rooms were comfortable, beds even more so. Great value for the price, would highly recommend!
We had a great time at the Ridgetop Lodge for our annual ski trip. The house itself was amazing and provided the group with everything you can ask for (two fireplaces, pool table, cable tv, spa, poked table, ample sleeping arrangements, and a great room with plenty of seating. The location was about 20-25 min to the Big Sky mountain and it was a very easy drive up and down as long as you have 4x4 during the winter. On top of the house/location, the staff at Lone Mountain was exceptional. They were quick to respond to requests and accommodated all areas of our trip including coordinating shuttles, delivering wood, helping with ski rentals, and responding quickly to any issue that came up. A couple of things to consider for your trip: - Kitchen. Compared to the rest of the house, the kitchen is rather small. Not a big deal but don't expect getting 3 people in there to help cook, Plenty of storage space but just don't expect a grand kitchen - During winter, you will need a 4x4 vehicle to get up to the property. Plenty of parking and its a little fun to drive up to the property - Horn & Cattle restaurant - Book early! We didn't get a chance to dine because we procrastinated, but definitely book early as everyone in town talked about this restaurant being the best We will definitely be back!
Everything was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the spacious living areas, bedrooms & outdoor hot tub. So relaxing we did not want to leave.
