We came to spend time with family at the holidays. Property was clean and comfortable. Hard to get upstairs to stay cool - other than that no complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed a weekend in Corning. Great location to museums and restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen, including water and snacks. Nice to be able to stay at a pet friendly house where our dog felt comfortable too. Host was quick at responding. Would recommend staying here if visiting Corning, New York.

My daughter and I visited the area to tour Corning Glass Museum. Great location…there is a Wegmans close by. Comfy beds. There were Bottles of water and snacks waiting for us in the kitchen, which was really nice.

Overall, the space meet our needs, especially with 3 bedrooms. But, the air conditioning is not central, which meant certain areas of the house that didn't have the units were hot. Also, while they worked fine, they were loud. There were many unkept houses in the area, including the outside of the rental. It's an old home. Vintage charm has appeal, but be aware the hallway, stairs, bathrooms are very tight. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Parking was strange and having to come in from the alley needed better lighting.

Overall, this was a great stay. While the neighborhood and home were both older, the house was clean, maintained, safe, and walkable to downtown. It was very convenient to anything. The home was well stocked and provided all the basics.

As advertised and the house was neat and clean but it was very cold though heat seemed to be working. Should look into better insulation of doors and windows. Not enough furniture in the living room to accommodate 6 people. Dining room chairs need to be tightened. They feel as though they might fall apart. Beds are very firm.

Although clearly an older home, the property was clean and with appropriate updates. Bathroom was a tad compact, but the bed more than made up for it. Location was perfect.

Quiet neighborhood close to walking downtown. House was clean inside but was a bit dated with electrical and shag carpets. Furniture was clean. Laundry a plus. Would recommend.

Nice old house. Interior kept to modern standards. Outdoor walkways need some repair, but usable. Very close to downtown area (Market St.). We were pleasantly surprised to see the Harvest Festival that weekend.

We contacted the owner to let them know the coffee maker was not working just as an FYI and within an hour a new coffee maker was at the door -- very responsive. Large nice kitchen We did not have pets but you could tell by the carpet that pets were there before. . It was very convenient to town --walkable

House had everything we needed. Check in was easy and overall no issues. The places is older but updated and has some quirks but each room had AC and it was clean. Bathroom was a bit small but no issues. The stairs are a narrow which I think is common in older houses. Easy walk to Market street and short drive/walk to glass museum. About 30 minutes to Watkins Glenn.

First and foremost it’s not the host’s fault that I am allergic to perfume, but when I told them that I absolutely couldn’t breathe in there, I was given a huge “oh well” shrug. So much air freshener I wondered if they were masking road kill. So heavy a scent I could taste it in the air. They said they could “air it out” but perfume doesn’t dissipate that fast. Frankly, they are under no obligation to provide a refund, but no sympathy was forthcoming. They wouldn’t even refund the cleaning fee. We didn’t stay there, so they didn’t have to clean it. Oh well! My bad. Buyer beware!!!!!!

This is a lovely older home. We enjoyed our 5 day stay visiting friends. Please provide information about trash pickup. Previous tenants could have used it also. All in all it was a good trip. Thank you!

We greatly enjoyed our weekend stay in this house. We comfortably slept 5 people and had plenty of room to spare. We enjoyed cooking and lounging in the house, and had easy interactions with the hosts. The house is also very close to restaurants, local attractions, and shopping in Corning -- we were never more than 10 minutes away from where we wanted to go. Still, I would love to see more artwork in the house, especially in the living room and bedrooms. And, although the house was clean, it would be my preference to have a deeper clean, especially in the kitchen. But, overall, our stay was excellent and I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Corning.
