Our family stayed for the Thanksgiving holidays, and loved every minute of it. Beautiful property, online pics are accurate, secluded for privacy yet close enough to necessities and tourist spots. Property manager was very accessible and very helpful. Plenty of room in the house with lots of amenities and a fully equipped dream kitchen. Loved the sun rises and sunsets from the pier. It was a very peaceful, relaxing getaway for our entire family.
We had an awesome time! Get away for mature crowd. No stores around., have to go back to Morehead or Beaufort to shop. Great fishing on the dock. Caught a variety of fish. Pathway to dock very muddy— So wear some old shoes Or rain boots to dock. Water on pathway to dock gets very high at high tide. Dock very steady! Enjoyed our trip. Would rent again!
In spite of bad weather, we had a wonderful long weekend! Plenty of room to spread out with multiple sitting areas and a fantastic kitchen! June was so responsive and eager to make sure we had what we needed. We would certainly rent this house again in the future!
This home is set on a beautiful marsh with gorgeous waterfront views. The pier is wonderful for taking pictures and enjoying the marsh. It is a very muddy walk to the pier and the water at the pier is too shallow for boats, but we knew this going in and still enjoyed. June was absolutely wonderful and so kind. We also rented the apartment below to enjoy the privacy of this property-I definitely recommend this. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.
There were some quirks that we didn't expect with the dock, but otherwise, we enjoyed the house and the off the beaten path location. Important to notice that you have to go through the marsh to get to the dock. Need to be prepared with water shoes or boots. We had a rainy week, so we were glad we had come prepared for the mud! Easy access to the hose to clean up when you get back. Despite the moorings for a boat, the dock is not boat friendly. We made the best of it, but it wasn't simple. The dock was lovely to sit on and fish from. We enjoyed watching birds. Easy drive to plenty of entertainment and beaches. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is a chef’s dream! The check in and check out process was simple and the property manager was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful home. Amazing kitchen. Perfect location for down east fishing. Would definitely stay there again.
House was very clean, beautiful kitchen with everything you need. It feels so good to be on the dock with the ocean breeze.
We stayed recently at this beautiful home. It was clean and had water access a short walk to the end of the property. We loved the historical architecture and the big yard. The grill and large kitchen were also a bonus. The proximity to Hwy 70 was great, too. Highly recommend!
Easy and relaxing
