Spacious one-level vacation rental offering the best of both worlds!

Great location, could use some updates inside, but we knew that going in.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THe home was not updated however, we knew that before we reserved. The home was clean, and the kitchen had everything you could need, washer and dryer were fine. The manager came out to fix the dishwasher within 3 minutes, very fast response from the maintainence team. The only thing was the soft master bedroom matress,. we are thinking of coming back next year and would suggest a topper for the matress. The home was right on the golf course. We did not use the pool because it was February, but the kids jumped in and had a blast. The pool guys came out weekly, and trash guys brought the cans to and from the house so that was easy. Carpets do need cleaning in master or replaced, just little simple updates would go a long way. The TV was alittle complicated however, my husband figured it out. Need instructions.

We travel to HHI every August and stay at Palmetto Dunes for two weeks. We loved everything about our stay as always. This year, we lost about three days due to the storm. The management company was amazing in getting the pool and deck cleaned up after three days of storm. The house was amazing as always: very comfortable and clean, perfect location, amazing pool and view. The only thing I would change are the beds, mattresses and pillows as they are starting to feel a bit uncomfortable, but not terrible yet. We look forward to going back next year!!

We LOVED the swimming pool and hot tub and decided they were the best in the neighborhood! The house was spacious, well decorated and had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation!

Suggest window treatments along the back windows for privacy at night. Please have detailed instructions for working the TVS. The house is well zfoked and comfortable.

The home was fantastic and had everything we needed. And it was all on one floor. Very cozy!

Reviewer Comments: I stayed at this property with my family and my elderly parents. They got there first and were tired after driving several hours from central Florida. When they attempted to check in they were told another group had already checked into the house. These people had given another address to security which was non existent, so somehow were given our house. They did not check/verify their identify. Management lied to my parents and said that their name was off by one letter from ours - highly improbable as we have a distinct name. My elderly parents were essentially interrogated to confirm THEIR identity whereas the interlopers were not even asked to present their ID. After much delay, security finally went and asked the intruders to leave (they clearly must've know they were in the wrong house). My parents rightfully said they would not enter unless it was inspected by security and housekeeping came through. While they waited outside in their car, security came by and asked my 79 year old father if he was housekeeping. Prejudiced much? They have traveled widely all over the world and this has been their worst experience. The house itself, as stated in other reviews, is in serious need of updating but was clean and utilitarian. The appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer) are very old and a disaster waiting to happen - need to be replaced. The area itself is nice and close to the beach. We were refunded one night's stay but that does not rectify the trauma and humiliation my parents had to endure. Would not recommend this community.

The only complaint we had was not being able to turn on the heat in the hot tub. This was a big let down after playing 36 holes of golf each day and not being able to relax in the hot tub, because it wasn’t hot!
